These look just like the ones you can get at the dealer but are much cheaper. The quality appears to be pretty solid. Even though they have rubber grips, you still need to be careful not to scratch your cross bars. I did notice some wind noise on the freeway but it wasn’t horrible. The rack arrived well packed with no damage. The box was heavy and the components are well crafted and heavy duty. The instructions were straightforward and it wasn’t until I got to the rear bar that I ran into trouble. The Telluride is tapered such that the front is wider than the back. The front bar is therefore longer than the back. The instructions say the width between the bars must be AT LEAST 28”. The instructions also suggest you can place the bars where you want but this is not true. The back bar does not seat properly and will only seat with the back bar at least 22” from the opening of the rear hatch door. This means that to meet the distance requirements of 28” the front bar is just behind the sunroof opening. This is the only location that works. I believe this is a problem created by the curved and tapered shape of the Tellie roof and not these bars. Just be prepared for a little frustration and use towels to avoid scratching while you adjust the fit. Start with the rear bar when installing. Wrap the ends in a towel to keep from scratching the car. Do not under any circumstances let the screws fall out of the tightening mechanism or you will spend a good hour trying to get them back in. Be mindful the bars add 6” of height to the vehicle when in parking garages. Now that installation is done, they’re awesome! They are sleek, aerodynamic and do not cause any road noise.
