The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: The company has made good on this chair. All issues have been resolved in a timely manner! 100% recommend this chair and company. More companies should be like this! --- Original Review ---- Sadly after tossing the box and thinking I had finished assembling the chair, I realized there was a major fault: the threading that holds the screw in on the leg had fallen INTO the chair back. I contacted customer support and they can't accept a return if I don't have the box... so I am stuck with a bum leg on the chair sadly. They said they will send me the a replacement threading, but I don't have much hope for it, since if the other one fell into the chair, that probably means the hole is stripped and a new one will just fall in too. Soooooooooo yeah, nice looking, very comfy, but brand new and already broken. Don't know how long it will hold up with the bum screw on that one side. Sucks. Will update when I get the new screw if it works or not. Also they dropped the price 15 $ after purchase and did refund the difference so that was nice. ... show more

    • Comfy enough, but horrible to put together
Overall, this chair is wide, comfortable and sturdy. However, putting it together was a nightmare. I have assembled quite a few pieces of furniture - from Ikea tables, chairs, and couches, to larger items like a large entertainment center with sliding front doors and an electric fireplace. Most go fairly easily. At first, these chairs also went together easily; but the final piece is the wood brace directly under the seat...and it was murder to get that on. It took me (and a carpenter friend) 90 minutes total to get one chair together. And, unfortunately, I bought two. Both chairs had the same issue. Putting on that one brace (4 screws total) took 75 of the 90 minutes required to get these chairs together. I finally had to allow for just 3 of the 4 screws to be secured in the second one. I'm not one to jump in and rate things too often...but our experience was challenging enough that I felt I had to this time. ... show more

I encountered a couple glitches when assembling the chair. I emailed the customer service email that was on the service card included in the box. Customer service responded promptly with proposed solutions. I received a second chair a few days later, at no extra charge. When assembling that chair, I encountered some difficulty getting one of the screws to go in. Took me a bit to realize that the threads in the screw were compressed. Fortunately, I had kept parts from the first chair, and I was able to switch out the screw. The chair is a little tricky to assemble. You have to have all the holes lined up just right. Helps to have a flashlight on hand. Successfully assembling the chair was time consuming for me, but I figure, I either pay with more time or more money. I think the chair is an excellent value for the price. It looks nice. And most importantly for my purposes, a client who perhaps weighs 400-500 pounds will be able to sit comfortably. ... show more

Very nice however the hardware will not go in so returning. It is large would be nice as a pair to accent a couch. bought it to use as a dining chair but it would have been to large to use at atable.

Very impressed with the quality of this chair. You have to look really close to see that it was assembled and it looks like a one piece chair that you get from a furniture store. Most people probably wouldn't notice that I had to assemble it. Instructions are very put together and to my surprise it even included all the tools necessary to assemble the chair. Assembly was relatively easy and took all of 10 minutes. The leather portion of the chair is very soft and it feels like very nice leather. I even smelled it to make sure it was leather. This chair was a great addition to our house. If you're reading my review, you're obviously looking and shopping around. I definitely recommend this chair and would buy it again in a heartbeat. ... show more
