For the suggested age, this item was just very slow and I know that they're not meant to be super fast but these were barely moving. Water also got in them somehow which is ironic being they're meant for the water. I purchased 3 of these and returned all 3... not the best for ages 5-7

    • Initial reaction is it’s a fun toy for the pool!
The media could not be loaded. First day so I may need to update but initial reaction is the kids really enjoy it. This is my 5 year old on it. It’s not the fastest as mentioned but in a pool it is plenty.

    • Battery compartment not water proof
We used it one day and then the next day we went to use it was dead. Went to change the batteries and the whole battery housing unit was rusted out and water logged. I made sure all the screws were tight before using and the face was flush against the head of it. Dried it and wiped it out and put new batteries in it and now it won’t work at all. My grandkids loved it and I was going to order another one but now I don’t I will. I paid full price for it. How do we use the warranty? ... show more

Wont last long, within the first day, one of two we purchased had problems with water in the batttery compartment, handle switch quit working etc. Also know you will be replacing 8 D size batteries regularly if they working! The second now doing the same.....maybe 3 days of use.....

Lasted a month and the micro switch went out. Rewired it to use 20V battery with a step down due to batteries didn’t last long at all.
