They are very comfortable and have a feature I don't recall reading in the product description. The ankle cuffs have a bungee string to close and lock to keep insects from crawling up your legs. Love that! Great feature to have in the Florida wilderness. They are very easy to unzip and zip the legs off and on. When zipping the legs back on be sure the zipper is secure and locked in probably before closing the zipper. Purchased these pants last fall and have used used them for hikes between 7 and 11 miles. The hikes have included stretches that required climbing, the pants are sturdy, comfortable and while giving the flexibility need in tight spaces. Very satisfied and would buy again

These pants are great for hiking trips and for traveling when formal wear isn't needed (eg exploring ancient ruins in Italy). Lightweight, comfortable, and quick drying. Not for wearing out to dinner, though!

These pants are my go to when going into work and need to convert to shorts on my way back home because of a hot day. They fit well and the leg openings are large enough to cover up a shoe's backside. They are bit large but I don't mind them, but others may not like them. The unzipping of the legs are easy and work fine. The only complaint I have is that the belt is very cheap and flimsily. It has a plastic parts to the buckle and also to the end part that you wrap around. That particular part has already begun to fail and has pulled away from the fabric a bit. It would've been better to just have a sewn end piece with no plastic and also aluminum belt hoops instead of a plastic belt buckle that may fail at some point as well. I love these pants but after only one year of minimal use, the one zip off leg, the zipper broke! It left me in the store with my thigh hanging out. I have several pairs and I am hoping that this is an isolated event.
