These chunky heels are absolutely adorable & I wanted to love them. However, they're extremely uncomfortable. And I don't just mean the usual discomfort of wearing heels. I'm talking next level uncomfortable. The sizing is accurate, but the flap over my foot is incredibly stiff & narrow. Whether you have average or slender feet, they're too tight! Definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone with wide feet. Not only are they tight, but the front edge of the flap is awkwardly placed right on top of the cuticle line of my toe. So when I walk, it digs right into my toe, applying crazy pressure & pulling my cuticle back every time I take a step.. As well-made as they are, they have a hard sole that doesn't flex...at all. It's like walking on concrete bricks & prevents you from walking normally. You must pick your whole foot up each time you step. Visualize a horse prancing 😂. I've mastered the art of strutting in heels in my 35+ years, but this is absurd. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at how ridiculous I must've looked. Just walking around my own house was a pain-inducing ordeal. Yeah they're cute, but they belong on display, not on my feet. It's unfortunate too because I can feel & see the beautiful, high-quality craftsmanship that went into making these shoes. Doesn't mean much if I can't wear them.
