This is an excellent product if you are just wanting a mild bronzing look. The smell is nice, like mild coconut and it spreads very easily. It does take a little while to take effect so you need to be patient. When I first started using it I did so for 4 days in a row and then went to every other day for the next 4 applications. Within the first week I noticed a very nice bronzed look and by the end of my 8th application I had the tone right where I wanted it. Now I just use it twice one week and three time the next, so a total of 5 times every two weeks (or every three days) and it maintains the perfect desired tone for my preference. The photo I posted is 7 days using the fair to medium, firming the formula. I probably could have done the medium to deep, but it was a nice slow progression. I'm gong to do the med to deep from here and see. Better than expected. None of my friends as what's up with the fake tanning.

    • Adds some nice color to pale complexions

As a naturally pale person who can't spend too long in the sun without getting burnt, this does a great job of adding a bit of color to pale complexions. You can see the results pretty quickly, I notice the color difference after about 3 days, and it can be further deepened by doing a full 7 days. I was never worried about any scent, but it does have a very pleasant one. Using this in combination with a tanning mitt and back-reaching tool, I was able to get a really nice tone. It does wear off quite quickly though, in about 2 days I seem to be back to normal. Fortunately, I don't need to be tan all the time, but I imagine if you want to keep a consistent tone day to day, you're going to run out of lotion pretty quickly. I've done two 7-day applications just for the upper torso and I feel like I maybe have enough left for 1 more treatment. But fortunately, these are relatively fairly priced, I don't get any irritation from it, the scent is good, I would recommend this product to any other pale friends who need a bit of color every now and then. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by jergens and how well and fast I seen results. I stopped using the tanning bed. So I have looked for alternative ways to tan. This does not get me dark tanned but I am so happy with my color. I am especially happy with the no streaking. I use it every day becouse we all need daily moisturizer. 2 birds one stone. It was, as I realize after the fact, it tints the skin and the hands. But I a skin cancer survivor, appreciate the subtle tinting. NEXT TIME, I will wear gloves.

I absolutely love this product. Leaves my skin so silky smooth. Smells fantastic! My fair skin is a nice warm golden tan color. It takes 3 to 4 days to get that max perfect color. No streaking if you put it on evenly. I use the left-over on my palms to lightly cover my knees, elbows, ankles and toe/finger joints to avoid an uneven look in those areas.     • Good Lotion, but Caused Breakouts

I have been a long-time user of Jergens Natural Glow self-tanner, but for some reason this one caused my face to break out quite badly. I used it on and off for a month to be sure that it was the cause of my acne, and every time I stopped using it I cleared right up. The lotion was visibly clogging my pores, and so I will reserve this lotion for use on my body and use a liquid spray tanner for my face going forward. Other than the acne, the lotion is quite good. It is very moisturizing and doesn't smell too much. The tan itself is subtle but noticeable - not too much on my fair skin. The lotion does take a long time to absorb into the skin, so it makes it uncomfortable to sit down if you use it on your legs. I would say that is the main drawback - the lotion doesn't fully absorb, and leaves your skin feeling tacky. But if you use a little at a time, and spread the use over several days, you should be able to get good results with minimal discomfort. I'm on the fence for whether or not I would recommend it. Definitely not for your face, but for your body as just a light tanning moisturizer, I could recommend it. ... show more
