This foam is STICKY, as in it REALLY likes to stick to itself while compressed. The listing says that you can just let it sit in a box and it will inflate on its own, just give it time. I didn't want to wait that long (we're talking hours here), so I went through the task of manually separating it. Like I said, it's sticky, but only to itself. I used this shredded memory foam to fill up my slacked Big Joe bean bag. Initially I bought one which gave my bean bag intended shape. Once got confidence with the product bought a second one to achieve intended firmness. My bean bag is now is very comfy. It's a bit heavier now from the initial purchase time but not too convenient. Was able to use 30 lbs of this foam to fill a Hyabusa 5' heavy bag. I didn't add any sand bags or other materials as my boys are new to martial arts and wanted a softer kicking/punching experience. May add another 5 lbs of this foam after the bag's leather fully relaxes.

Not the highest quality shredded foam you can get. There's a bunch of different kinds of foams, some hard and some soft so this might not be the best if you're stuffing a pillow. For a bean bag though, it seems to feel fine,

I may have made my furry friend a bit more of a couch potato! Added this fill to his dog bed and now he only gives up his place for an occasional sneaky nap on the couch. Far more fill than I expected. Came vacuum sealed and doubled the thickness of a 40" round dog bed.
