  • Easy to set up.
Size: XL-116 Gal Color: Black
The first one that I received had a leak in the rim of the tub. Customer service was great and a replacement was sent out quickly. The tub is thermal and holds the temp nicely.

  • A good choice for cold plunges
Size: L-90 Gal Color: Black
I picked this up for my son—his wife told me she wanted him to take ice baths, she thought it would help with some issues. When he was younger and lived with me, he would take ice baths in the bath tub occasionally, while training for competitive events. He's 6', 230 lbs. I have a different one, and wanted to compare the relative merits, too. I took a look at the components when it came in. Two-piece legs instead of one—I'm sure that's to minimize the shipping box size, and I don't see anything wrong with it. This one has a proper drain plug (mine has hookups for a water chiller, but will not drain all the way because the lowest outlet is six inches or so off the ground; there is a plug on the bottom of mine, but it's not easy to get at until the tub is almost empty). That's an advantage for the Jecoo (though no chiller connections, if that's a concern). My son's comments on setting it up: "Unboxing and setting up the JECOO Ice Bath Tub was a pretty straightforward. It took approximately two minutes to set up. The plastic bars to reinforce the outer shell we’re very easy to connect. They came in two pieces. The rim is inflatable to help for stability although I wish there was a little bit more support. This looks like a great product for the price nonetheless." ... show more

  • WELL WORTH THE PLUNGE
Size: XL-116 Gal Color: Black
I'm very pleased with the ice bath we ordered for the athlete in the house. After exhausting days of baseball this summer, it's provided significant relief and rejuvenation–it quickly became a recovery routine requirement. With our busy school routine plus the cool weather that has already arrived, we decided it was time to pack it away. I regret not snapping photos beforehand, but I can vouch for its quality. The setup was straightforward and surprisingly sturdy, holding up well under use. It's made a noticeable difference in recovery times and overall comfort, making it a valued addition to our athletic routine. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable ice bath for sports recovery. ... show more

  • Good plunge thus far
Size: L-90 Gal Color: Black
fits me good, I’m 6ft 195lbs No leaks so far 👍 Cold plunge is a legit thing for healing and mood. Good habit to start Also You might want to check out cold plunge tubs, which I haven’t tried but seem like they’re a bit longer, I’d be interested in being able to compare the two styles but either way this one’s still good. Just another option to consider. ... show more

  • Not for Casual Athlete?
This ice bath tub was one of three I ordered for my 16 year old grandson and his high school baseball team mates. This is one of the larger options available holding 116 gallons. Instructions were missing but this unit went together like the others so we were able to manage. Before use I made sure i had spoken with the parent of each young to verify permission and identify any health concerns. I had researched the amount of time appropriate for beginners and it is as little as 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Unfortunately there is no information about how to use the product safely (ie not alone, use time, time limits) and I believe these young men would have ben unintentionally at risk with their enthusiasm. Anyway, I had ordered several of the 3 pound ice block molds for making large blocks for ice bath use and two blocks plus 2 large bags of ice was more than enough to make the water cold enough for them. I had also ordered and required the use of the toe protectors even tho' the water temperature didn't reach the lowest range suggested. Each young man took a supervised turn using the tub and all expressed similar responses. First, each indicated the water was very cold and they were happy they had limits placed on the duration of their plunge, cuz you know, peer pressure would have caused extended stays without safety information. The young men are high school baseball players, the shortest was 5'11" and the tallest was 6'4". Each commented they had no idea how they were to position themselves inside the tub and had trouble getting comfortable. The tub wasn't wide enough for sitting cross legged, most sat on their knees which could be done for limited time. Each stated they would prefer an elongated tub that would allow them to sit on their bottoms and extend their legs out. Getting in and out of the tub was awkward and the tub was tipped over at least once. They also found the large cubes required moving around to place out of their way. The large cubes require 48 hours to freeze solid and take a lot of room in a freezer. The lid is a nice option to allow the water to be conserved but adding ice would be expensive if you don't utilize the large cub molds. In the end, after two or three days the interest in the ice tubs declined significantly. Bottom line, if you are a high level athlete this might be worth the effort, but for the typical or casual athlete it may not be worth it. ... show more
