We use these at our work repairing high end lighting. It allows us to clamp parts without marring delicate finishes like gold leaf while they're in the vice. It works great for us.

    • Works as advertised
As a price point, and just seeing what I could find on Amazon, these work very well. The magnets will slide a little, as other reviews have stated. I figure as a temp solution, I'll use some tape to keep them from pulling off, so I can change the 2 sets out for different projects.

Hey, a pair of magnetic soft jaws for my cheap bench vise. They're great. I will add, because others have been critical of it, that they're labeled as being 4" long. Well, the ones I got are actually 4-1/2" long. But that's not a problem for me. I just move one side to be flush with the vise jaws if that's important. If it really bothered me, I would just trim them to size. Heck, my 4" vise jaws are actually 3-15/16" but I'm not complaining about that either. ... show more
