The audio quality is good, it connects right away and doesn't have any issues. It's a nice little speaker thats easy to carry, and could even be easily clipped onto a belt loop. I primarily use it in the shower, and it's had no issue with the water. It feels well built and sturdy, not cheap or fragile. I haven’t felt compelled to write a review in a while, that changed with this speaker! So to start, I was looking for a small speaker that I could take biking, camping, or to the beach. I wanted to good sound quality, and do to the nature of the places / activities I didn’t want to spend a lot either (knowing it could get a tad beaten up). I started with the Skullcandy Ounce XT, honestly it was what I expected, not the best sound (but adequate), but what made it worse was it just felt cheap in the hand, and what was worse is the mechanism that created the bass was a very flimsy feeling vibrating “subwoofer” which was on the bottom of the unit. The placement was awful as depending on what you set it down on it would be muffled, and or damaged! All that said this JBL Go 3 has none of those issues! The sound quality is hands down amazing, it’s heavy in the hand giving it a sense of durability and honestly it just seems like so much more thought went into the design as to what it was made for! As for the battery life, it’s not great, but for the power and sound quality you get in such a small package it makes sense. Overall I am blown away by this purchase! ... show more

Wow, what a great speaker! I got this as an early Christmas gift to myself after I created about 15 playlists on Amazon Music. I really wanted something better than my cellphone speaker to enjoy them on. I plan on eventually hooking up a Bluetooth adapter to my home stereo system, but I'm not currently able to move my stereo cabinet, remove the receiver, etc. I thought the JBL would be a great quality option based on price and the reviews so far. I HATE when people post a product review on the DAY THEY GET IT or the day after ("Duh, it work good so far!") instead of trying a product for at least a few months. Here's my take on the JBL 3.0: Sound quality - Excellent. Very crisp, clear and amazingly FULL for such a small speaker. The bass comes through pretty well. Battery life - Also excellent. I use it a LOT and I rarely have to re-charge it with the USB cord, but when I do, it's easy. Volume control - VERY easy to control one handed with 3 settings (increase, decrease, and pause). Waterproof - haven't tested it in a tub, but I have put it on my vanity during a shower and the steam hasn't harmed it yet. I often carry thee JBL around in my pocket in my house, place it in a room, then walk around and use my cell phone to control the playlists and volume. The only con I have with this is sometimes the Bluetooth connectivity "cuts out" for no reason in my house. Don't know why, but it's happened 3 times in 3 months, so it's still pretty good. It's really not a big problem, just turn it off/on and it's ok. It hasn't happened in about 3 weeks. Overall, very satisfied. I would highly recommend this speaker. ... show more

I bought this little speaker for use in the shower. So far it is working fantastic. It hooks up with my Amazon Alexa and allows me to control content via voice. Sound quality is very good, and with the acoustic properties of the enclosed shower it makes it sound like a concert hall.
