  • Very Stylish Headphones JBL CLUB ONE"S
Color: Black Size: Large
I really like these headphones. Presentation was awesome. The app is very customizable and great. The look and the quality of the headphones are exceptional. Only complaint I had was that the sound was slightly muffled or in other words the sounds sounded right in top of each other not separate. Overall great pair of headphones. JBL CLUB ONE VS SONY 1000XM4 ANC - Sony wins here by anc. JBL has great anc on the CLUB ONES but the Sonys are marketed at having one of the best ANC on the market. Personally theres not that much of a difference to a regular consumer. Style - Club ONES win here. The style of the club ones are exceptional. They are the perfect bluetooth dj headphones yet very comfortable and stylish. The Sony's are very nice as well and I like the Black and gold combo the use. I just prefer the look of the JBL'S because they look different and cool. Sound - JBL wins here. The sound on the JBLs are very good. Although I mentioned that the songs sounded slightly muffled or cluttered on the JBL's, not as bad as the Sony's. Sony's sound very muffled and cluttered to my ears. Both apps were used and equalizers were set. Both app give a lot of customizability which I like. JBL CLUB ONE's vs BANG AND OLUFSEN H9 (ones I kept) ANC - H9's win here. Although very close the H9's have very good anc without having to have the volume blasting all the way up. Style - JBL wins this. What I like about the JBL can be read above. The style of the H9 is modern, nice, and simple. There is nothing wrong with it. I have DJ'd in the past so thats maybe why I lean towards the JBL's design. Sound - H9 wins. I spent over a month listening to both. At first I loved the JBL's, bass was good, vocals were great, but again slightly muffled. I sent back the Sony's 2 days after I got them FYI. The H9's are crisp, clean and bassy. Everything about the H9's are simple, the design and the app interface with equalization. As for sound, the distinctive instruments and crisp notes were what sold me. The bass is also very good on the H9's. In all, I love these JBL CLUB ONE's. As a middle tier headphone these are a great option all around for sound. My girlfriend prefers these over the H9's. Everyone has their tastes. As for me I only decided to keep the H9's as the sound profile fit more my taste. If I still DJ'd these JBL's would be my bluetooth and dj headphones hands down. ... show more

  • Impressive
Color: Black Size: Large
Overall the build quality is nearly perfect, the only thing that makes me a little nervous is the hinges where the ear cup rotates. It's not in danger of falling apart my view is more of long term durability, I'm sure it's more robust than it appears as it is metal after all. The accessories that come with the box are pretty robust and thorough although it would be nice to see future shipments come with a small power brick with the option to buy a fast charger at an additional cost directly from JBL. The sound quality is absolutely where the JBL CLUB ONE shines! These hands down are the cleanest sounding headphones I personally have ever used, allowing me to completely rediscover many hours of music while hearing chimes and background sounds that went unnoticed previously. The bass response is nice and level, providing just enough to make most genres of music come across clear and responsive. Personally I enjoy music with more of a punch in the lower frequencies and find that at times the JBL CLUB ONE can leave a little more to be desired that I'm sure could be mitigated with a future update to the companion smartphone app for these headphones. As of the time of this writing the "My JBL Headphones" does not have a native option to increase lower end response other than adjusting an on screen equalizer. The headphones are nicely constructed of "premium materials" making for a very appealing finish that really feels nice in the hands and makes them comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. These headphones have a very soft and plush ear cushion that can be a little hot to wear in any weather that resembles Florida but also provides plenty of sound isolation and comfort at more reasonable temperatures. Making phone calls is very clear for both parties due to the array of microphones around the headphones and the noise cancellation appears to also aid in call quality. I personally pre ordered these for $349 USD and received them on launch day via Amazon. I can definitely summarize them as being excellent, just not $350 USD excellent. If you can snag them for $299 I'd say that's where they belong but everyone will have their own idea of what something is worth. Definitely buy them though. ... show more

  • Great "Smart" Features, Build Quality; Cons: Lackluster ANC, AAC/SBC Only, Sound=Decent
Color: Black Size: Large
*Pros: 1) Incredibly Comfortable 2) Deep ear cushions! 3) Smart Features are Incredible! 4) Multi-point Pairing 5) Excellent Build Quality 6) Passive Noise Isolation is pretty darn good! 7) 2 Audio Cable Inputs (1 on each side) ***Favorite Feature: With a push of a button, have your Google Assistant verbally provide info such as time, weather, notifications, etc; all without touching or unlocking your phone (for reference, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+). Cons: 1) AAC, SBC only ( Likely to experience audio lag depending on the source). 2) BT range is terrible! Began to cut out when in the next room. 3) ANC is mediocre; especially if you wear glasses. 4) Unable to use BT or ANC while charging. 4) App is pretty limited; at least at this time. I wanted to love these because of all of the built-in smart features, multi-point pairing, build quality, and comfort; however, due to the limited codecs and lackluster ANC, I had to sadly return them. The search continues! ... show more
