The switch works as advertised and installs without complications. I've had issues with other fan control switches (designed specifically for fans and the type of motor/control for ceiling fans), but this is the first to consistently work without issues.

This fan control works well. However, it paired with my system as a dimmer switch and not a fan control. Even though it worked with my fan I was concerned that it may damage the fan and therefore contact edI the manufacturer. Here is Jasco’s response “ Thank you for contacting Jasco Products Company. If your hub is identifying it as a dimmer this won’t hurt the fan control. 1 to 33% would be a low setting, 34 to 66% is medium and 67% to 100%.. I have been using it for weeks and I have no issues. I do recommend it. I have a number of other products from Jason and I happy with all. FYI, the customer service is very responsive - this wasn’t my first contact with them. ... show more

I had a GE brand (made by Jasco) smart ceiling fan switch that failed after many years and many power outages. Went to the box stores and couldn’t find a zwave smart ceiling fan switch that met my needs. So I went on Amazon searched and found this which was a newer version of what I had. The installation was fool proof. Insert the copper wires into the proper hole in the back and tighten with a Philips head screwdriver. Wish all switches and outlets were this easy and secure. Then hooked it up to my smart hub and was back in business with ceiling fan and being able to control it through my phone and Alexa. Total time was less than 10 minutes to replace and setup.
