I actually wouldn't be without this product which was recommended by my dermatologist. However, it is difficult to find the right color and I had to try 3 colors before I settled. It leaves a very, very light finish on my skin, barely covering light freckles. But I kind of like the light touch and will continue to use it. The bottle is full of beads. The first pump gives you aloe vera liquid only. After that you get the color product. I would never use this to get a professional photo taken as it doesn't give enough coverage. When I know I'm getting pictures taken I use Revlon Color Stay, not their photo finish as I like the color stay best. ... show more

I love the smooth look and coverage of the product and found it easy to apply. I usually apply a pump to the back of my hand and mix before applying. I really think my face looks great and better than other foundations that I have used. I tend to use mostly for when I am going out, due to the cost and use my less expensive foundation for daily application. ... show more

In the powder, I'm a Golden Glow. And this is much darker than that. It doesn't spread easily or evenly, and starts to look blotchy and smeared. I've applied it with a J.I. brush and a sponge, using different techniques each time, and it just doesn't look right. I started to use the J.I. primer, in my attempt to make it better, but it didn't help; and I have pretty healthy skin. It doesn't provide much coverage for the few scars I have or breakouts I get during that time of the month, either. The only thing I like about this stuff is that once it's been put on and dried - because yes, it feels really wet and nasty during application- you don't feel like you have foundation on like you would with other products.
