This is the best foundation I've ever worn. When you put it on, it looks like your skin. Even with a closeup mirror, you can't see the makeup once it's blended. On at least three occasions in the last two years, I've had strangers compliment me on my skin when I was wearing the foundation. This had never happened before. Unlike other foundations, I've found that over the day, it looks better and better. It's the first foundation I've worn that doesn't look flaky or get discolored as the day goes on. When I take it off at night, my skin feels better than if I'd not used it at all. Hydrated, I guess. I think if you're going for the natural look, this is a good product. It does give your face shine, but in my opinion, shine makes a person look healthy. If you have acne problems or oily skin, I wouldn't use this, but I think that the drier your skin, the more you will like this product. If you really can't stand the shine, but you love the color you get, I would pair this with one of Jane Iredale's powders. I have the translucent powder, which I use on occasion. I love the translucent powder because it has SPF and you can't see that actual grains of powder on your skin. I would go to a retail location and test the different colors before purchasing. I've been using this product for almost 2 years. It was on the list of recommended face makeup that my Esthetician gave me. She is very careful to only recommend products that are non-toxic to the skin. Each time I ordered it, the bottle lasts for 3 months! I've used Warm Silk and also Light Beige and both work for my skin tone. Only one pump covers my entire face. I pump once on the back of my hand, then with a make-up brush, I apply a dab of the foundation on each cheek, forehead and chin, then blend it with the brush. I have oily skin and am 62 years old, so I use another brush with just the slightest dab of mineral foundation to go over my face afterward and then my face isn't shiny. I've found that the facials I get each month have made the difference in how foundation looks on me, too! I did find it on EBAY for $35 with free shipping, since Amazon sells it for the same price as the manufacturer. Love it! ... show more

It is pretty awesome as described. Does not blend like other foundations but once you get the hang of applying with a brush it settles and makes the skin look flawless without a "makeup" look at all. A little bit goes a long way. Lasts a long time and good when needing to take photos. I usually save this for special occasions only since I don't llike wearing a lot of makeup on a daily basis. It is a good quality and has ingredients. I learned about this brand when I worked in a spa.

I have been using this product over 2 years now and just love it. I put it on using a foundation brush and then touch it up by using a make-up wedge. I know some people have complained about it making your face to shiny. That happened to me first off, but I cut down on the amount I used and followed it up by using the Jane Iredale pressed powder. I love how the product feels and also love the fact that the few rare times when I don't wash my face before bed the make-up does not make my face break out like other foundations. I have used this product for quite sometime and been very pleased with it. Because the "color" is in the beads which are suspended in a clear liquid you squirt some in the palm of your had and rub it around to release the color, then apply it just as you would any other liquid foundation.
