Rarely do I find technology product instructions so well explained that I don't need help from one of my adult children! It works exactly as promised! It comes with some thermal paper to start with, on a roll. It's wireless, lightweight and portable. Be careful not to download the wrong app though. Writing this review only a few days after receiving it; if my opinion changes I'll circle back. The good *It's about a third the size and cost of Epson's portable inkjet printer, and that includes the built-in roll of paper. *The curly print out issue isn't that big a deal--they're not tightly or stiffly curled. I ordered (separately) flat thermal paper because I was concerned about the curly printout issue, but for my needs it's fine, and the convenience of not having to have paper on hand beyond what's built into the machine is a bonus. *I had no problem loading the driver onto a Windows 10 laptop, nor downloading the app you need to run the thing on an iPhone *While not "rugged", it doesn't have any protruding bits to break at all--it's just a solid little rectangle--so I'm not worried about it getting damaged loose in my work bag. The could-be-better: *The print quality isn't excellent (though you shouldn't be thermal printing anything you need to hold onto for a long time, anyway. For short-term around the jobsite uses, it's fine) *I'm mostly printing greyscale diagrams and text from PDF's. The same exact pdf file printed from the Windows machine looks washed out and hard to read, but when printed from the iPhone looks fine. WTF? *The app is basic and low fi, which is fine, but at least the iOS version can only print files from some social media apps and from the iPhone's "Files" folder. You can't print from a USB in an adaptor on the phone, and you can't print from dropbox etc. The printer also won't show up as an available printer through any other app (ie Dropbox, gmail) even if you have the app open and are linked. This means you have to transfer every file onto your personal Files folder prior to printing. *If you're printing more than one copy or more than one page, you either have to print them one page at a time, or use scissors to cut them apart later. It would be nice if there were a pause-after-each-page option so you could tear. All in all, though, I'm so far happy with the thing. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE my Jaden's thermal printer!! The app is so easy to work with, connection is good, the quality of my prints is on point and very clear, the printers size works perfectly to just throw it in my bag and GO, it's also very convenient for my small home office. Its just PERFECT!!! Five out of five stars!! I also recommend getting the portable case for it in case you are planning to use it on the go. I also bought the 2 types of paper and I'm happy, the rolled one happens to be challenging to keep it straight/flat, but it's understandable because well, it's a roll. ... show more

Was uncertain when I bought this because it wasn’t an actual air printer & some reviews said it was difficult to use. However it only took a few minutes to figure it out through the PrintGo app. I was able to connect & print easily from my iPhone. So far have just used the roll paper(which is supplied) & print quality is good. I also bought the flat paper but haven’t used that yet. Bought matching case which I really like. Keeps it dust free, stores charging cable & is great for travel. So far, very happy with the purchase of this cute little printer! ... show more

I desperately wanted to love this printer because I have a Jaden’s thermal label printer that I love. It’s super compact, lightweight, prints quickly, you can charge it and use it without it being plugged in, take it with you in a purse or backpack, there’s a third party zip holder you can get, it’s bluetooth/wireless, and has an easy set up on an iPhone app. (note that I’m already used to how Jaden‘s printing works so it was easier for me to set this one up then when I had to learn how to do the thermal label printer-it’s a little different than typical printers). Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that the paper that thermal printers use is essentially fax paper, which are very thin. Youths-google fax machine ;) Also, good luck writing on it with ink without it smearing all over. I think they sell special markers to write on it. But that’s more $$$. If you use the paper rolls, the print out won’t be flat. For this, I recommend getting the flat paper that has perforated edges that they sell, but that paper also has its own issues which I will review separately. Paper costs about $20 per hundred pages, which is a lot compared to regular printer paper and the cost of ink! some things to note (about this one and other thermal printers): it doesn’t print double sided, you can’t print in color (it uses heat and not ink), and paper runs out very quickly. I exchanged it for a cheap ink printer (with a scanner, copier, and fax that thermal printers don’t have) that gives 6 months of free ink and paper. It goes through ink like I’ve never seen before but my other ink printer broke after many years. I think this printer would be good for certain people depending on your needs.
