Needed a good, solid small case for a Ruger Super Wrangler and other items within same case. Found it with the 14" Jack Boss. All others were about 2" too small to be able to hold a western style revolver that is 12" long from muzzle to tail back-edge, without going diagonal, which would of taken up more of the case. With the plucking out the perforated foam, I was able to keep 1/2" on each side for weapon protection and that was perfect, to not rub against the interior plastic on each end of pistol. My gun is snuggled in nice and protected on all sides. One thing I didn't realize with this type of foam, is it will mostly go too deep when you pull what you need to form the outline of whatever item going into the case. So, get yourself an exacto knife or single edge razor blade and cut how deep you want to go. Just be careful, as this being a 6" deep piece of foam, you might want to also cutout for other items on the bottom side, so's to keep foam protection between the items. This is a great, small case. I weigh about 220#s and I stood on it to test the strength. No problem. For the price, this is a bargain. Yeah, it's made in China, but at least it's well made. It might even work if one transports pistols by ground in/within certain States that require your weapons locked up a certain way to be legal -- by their anti 2nd Amentment laws. Does this Jack Boss case compare to much higher priced, well known brand cases? Unknown, but by its features, it certainly has compatability to them, if you don't mind black, as a color. ... show more

You will need a rack to install. These are not made as a motorcycle case. I have installed a few of these on my motorcycles and are an awesome alternative to "motorcycle" cases

It wasn't the same as pictured but the only thing different as far as I can see is the little red strongman logo!? Otherwise it looks the same, well built at a great price compared to pelican!!

I almost didn't buy this case because it says 9 inches inside & I need all 9 inches...but you can see from my pics that it is 9+ x 12 x 4 inside the bottom and another inch plus of foam in the top. The 2 inch interior depth depicted is an obvious error. It's the best case of mistaken identity I have seen. It even has a different logo. Mine was possibly manufactured in Canada. Includes a block of foam with 1/2 inch perfs L&W for easy customization but I didn't need it. Great product. No rubber feet but can compete with the best IMO. ... show more
