J-B Windshield Saver is a patented windshield repair system that allows for the DIY repair of damage such as "bullseye", "star", and "stone chips" up to 1-1/4" diameter. • Makes cracks almost disappear.
Nice product. Easy instructions. I was surprised how it almost made the windshield crack disappear. Highly recommended.

  • Worked great on star
Rock hit the windshield and left a 1.5 inch star crack. This repair kit worked great to fill and seal the crack. I can hardly see it now. Hopefully it will last and I won’t have to buy a new windshield. Only issue I had was it needs UV light to harden. So this must be done during the day. I didn’t know this and had to wait until the next day for it to fully cure. ... show more

  • Doesn't work.
Followed the instructions meticulously, watched the video a couple of times, but it just makes a mess. When I removed the pedestal applicator after 30 minutes, liquid resin ran down my windshield. I put the cure strip on and now there's a square of resin on the glass. And, after using the syringe as instructed, the resin didn't even get into the crack. Waste of time and money. Let your insurance company do the job for $25 instead. ... show more

  • Fixed the windshield crack
Well almost fixed it, wish it the hole at the end was bigger to cover larger area, but it does work.

  • One key flaw in the instructions
The instruction video was very helpful and clear, but has a notable flaw. When it is time to place the tube of resin to apply it, the instructions say to "leave a little in the tube" to dab on top at the very end. Well there is no way to know how much you have squeezed out. The tube is solid as is the holder that you place on the glass. My crack was partially fixed, but I blame not using enough of the resin. I used probably 75% of the tube when I should have used 90%. Again, you are flying blind with such a small tube. I may try again, but overall a little disappointed for a brand as good as JB Weld. Overall process took about 45min. ... show more

  • Works
This stuff did what Safelite failed to do. Here is a review I left for Safelite (See below in “ “) Essentially, just buy this kit and don’t let them touch your windshield. “Simple. I submitted a claim through my insurance and was thrilled to find out the chip was covered. They put me in contact with Safelite for the repair and it was super easy to schedule the appointment. We waited a few days and when the morning came the gentleman arrived and promptly got to work. He never came to our door or acknowledged us just started the job. After the work was completed he left and we went to check to see the results. The chip looked and felt exactly the same as before the work was even done. We thought that was very strange, but knew that cosmetically it would look roughly the same, but the fact that it was still gouged and deep was concerning. A few days later the chip/crack got bigger so I contacted Safelite again and spoke with a nice guy who stated it couldn’t be repaired again and a full windshield replacement was needed. I thanked him for the time and told him I was gonna reach out to my insurance company. Overall, that didn’t sit well with me so I ordered a $10 JB Weld repair kit online. Received the kit and man what a difference. The gouge is virtually gone and smooth to touch, but since it did crack a little larger that is still visible. The fact that a cheap repair kit bought on Amazon did a much better job than a “professional” repair is sad and my disappointment is unmeasurable. It clear that Safelite just wants to perform a more expensive repair.” ... show more

  • No Effective
Follow directions to the T with moving car in the shaded area in my garage. And complete step and then move in let sit in sunlight for five hours and did not cure and fill chip
