I have a mixed group of clubs assembled from over the years and since I have been more active playing golf recently, I decided to get a full set to have just in case. These are really excellent clubs for the price. They hit well, feel good in the hand and have a decent amount of control and flex. The putter hits nicely, the driver delivers decent power and the irons are durable. The bag is also great. Lightweight and easy to carry with all the necessary pockets and accessories. The IZZO Golf EZ set is everything I hoped for in a starter set for my son. It’s lightweight, super easy to carry, and comes with all the essentials to hit the course right away. It was fantastic taking him to the range and watching him stripe some balls right down the middle of the driving range. These are a forgiving set of clubs that build confidence in the game. The irons and driver have a great feel, and the oversized heads are forgiving, which is perfect for someone like my son, who’s just getting into the game. These clubs have improved his confidence on the course and his trash talk off the course. ;-) The bag is well-designed, with plenty of compartments for balls, tees, and even a spot to hold an umbrella. It's also easy to strap onto a push cart or carry over your shoulder without any hassle. Most of all, I am very impressed by the quality of the putter. It's a well-balanced mallet putter, just like my name, Odyssey putter, and it feels great on the green. For the price, you really can't beat this set. The media could not be loaded. This set is the perfect starter set and is lightweight and easy to shoulder carry and walk a course with its myriad carrying straps and handles. It is easy to attach to a golf cart and has a strap to hold the support legs in place so they do not accidentally pop out. There is a long compartment for an umbrella, standard places to put balls and gloves. The inner bag club separators has 5 compartment. The woods section is separated all the way to the bottom to protect the graphite shafts. While the 4 compartments for the irons is only separated at the top. It comes with Driver 11.5º, #4 Hybrid 21º, #5-PW irons, a nice mallet putter, the bag with rain cover, and 3X head covers. They are made from an allow steel. The heads are oversized and forgiving for those who don’t golf often. Over time you will add specialty clubs. I would add a 3 wood, 3 iron, SW and a 50º wedge to round it out for my round of golf. I went out to the driving range to test out the clubs. The clubs performed predictably including my vices. I was able to address my hitting problems with the woods by adjusting my stance after a few bad initial hits and then was able to hit more consistently. The main thing that stands out is just how lightweight this set is compared to a bag of clubs I had from 15 years ago. And the putter is so much more balanced and easier to keep on line. This is a good set. Just add some balls, tees and a golf glove and you can head out to the course. I haven't played in a decade so I am excited to get back out and try and conquer the course with this new set from Izzo. ... show more

NOTE: This is 5-stars based on price point. These are not being compared against significantly higher priced clubs but against other clubs in this range. For a new player or a player getting back into the game these clubs have some of the latest head design elements without the high-dollar price tag. The grips and shafts are above average, the bag is nice with plenty of pocket space and the head covers are attractive and fit well. For a mid-to-hi handicapper that just wants a new set, a gift for someone with 20-yr old clubs or an extra set for guests to use, this is a really attractive, and useful set up. ... show more
