The lift is a lifesaver. I bought it primarily for my grandmother, who has difficulty getting out of her old recliner and cannot put her feet up on her old one anymore due to her leg weakness. She can't get the stool back down. The listing was a little unclear, and I wasn't 100% sure that the footstool was electrically operated, but it is. To raise the footstool, you just press the down arrow, and the footstool will automatically come out, and at a certain point, the back leans back. The chairs size works fine for my 5'6" and 140-pound grandma, and although I'm 5'9", my feet only hang over the footstool just a bit, but it's still comfortable. The seat has just the perfect density; my grandma doesn't sink down into it, and it's not too hard that it hurts her tailbone, which has been a problem in the past with other chairs we've got her. She can sit for long periods without any discomfort. I didn't really buy it for the massage feature, but it turned out to be one of my grandma's favorite parts. She was tickled by it and never knew she needed it. It quite literally rocked her to sleep in less than 10 minutes while she was watching her Andy Griffith reruns. Although I didn't notice much heat from the heat function, the massage really is great. There are four different modes to choose from, and they are all excellent. I think they could have put me to sleep easily too. My husband is sawing logs in it as I write the review. As with just about anything, nothing is 100% perfect. For my grandma, the size is perfect, but for me, someone who is a bit "fluffier," if it were about 2 inches wider, there would be a little more padding in the footstool, and some sort of velcro or something was on the side to hold the remote in place, this recliner would be absolutely perfect. Even though I am on the heavier side, the chair still did operate just fine, and even the lift worked without sounding strained or making it feel like it was going to tip. It comes in two boxes and requires minimal assembly. Everything just slides together, and then you need to connect the wires. It's not a super heavy chair, so it isn't hard to put together at all. My husband put it together, but I'm pretty sure I could have done it on my own. If you are looking for a chair for a smaller-framed elderly person, I think they will just love this chair. I bought this massage chair 3 weeks ago and I love it very much so far. It arrived in good shape within two big boxes, although a little heavy to move into home, it is pretty easy to assemble, just put 4 big pieces together and click-connect all matched electric cables, no any tools required. It is super sturdy. The leather feels good, soft and smooth. When sitting in it, you can adjust the angle and level using the remote control until the best position you like for reading, watching TV, relaxing, or sleeping. Most of the time, I enjoyed taking a nap on it. Sometimes, choose the right mode to massage your head, neck, back, leg or your whole body. It also has heating function, but I havent tried it yet, it is summer now. In addition, I like the design for the 4 pockets and the two cup holders, very convenient to put some stuff with you. The chair arrived earlier than I expected. It was easy to set up, comfortable to sit on, fits my body very well as I can adjust the angle at will. I just had surgery and it helped me stand up very easily. Very nice recliner.

I have had recliners, actually 2 sofas, for many years at home. They are fine with sitting at any reclining angles. However, they are lack of additional features, ie heat and massage. As years went by, I decided to have some changes and purchased this particular recliner. The recliner chair is quite sturdy and heavy and I have tile floor so it’s easy to move it around in the living room. Even it’s heavy, the assembly was quite obvious and easy following the instruction sheet. The controller and label is self-explanatory. Just with a few presses on the button, I was fully enjoyed all massage functions, ie different strength, times, position, vibration modes……etc. One time, I was so much comfortable and enjoyable that I just fell asleep until it fully stopped to wake me up. I have a swollen ankle issue so it really alleviated me a lot when I used it. The heating function further assists the blood circulation during the massage process. It’s an excellent recliner suitable for all ages, young or old, men or women….. It’s good for resting and alleviating my swollen ankles and I love it! ... show more
