Lightweight, comfortable, good coverage, easy to apply evenly, evens out the redness in my skin, healthy glow. It is pricey, but it's also probably one of the best foundations I've ever used. I love IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream for its excellent coverage and skincare benefits. It evens out my skin tone, hydrates well, and has SPF, which is a huge plus. It blends beautifully and feels lightweight, making it perfect for everyday wear. However, the only downside for me is the slightly glittery/shimmery finish. This foundation felt great on my skin and I love that it has some SPF in it as well to further protect my face. I felt that when I initially put this on in the AM that the coverage was good but it became somewhat sheer throughout the day. This is even with using a setting spray and not touching my face, etc. I can't fully describe it but the initial look and how it looked a few hours later felt like different foundations. Update - I think I originally rated this too low. Once I started using this with a setting spray it looked 10x better and did not become sheer. When using a setting spray it stayed beautiful all day. I still think this is very expensive and there are other great options at a lower price point, but I wanted to provide this update! ... show more

Have tried several shades of IT CC cream, but this is first time for the Illumination and wish I'd gone with it from day one! Have to use a major SPF on my face and IT is the best I've found (tried everything...very expensive ones,too) that really does protect and I have no sensitivity reactions. It is very difficult to find an spf for my face that doesn't cause redness, itching, even raw places. Plus, have found nothing to compare with the effectiveness of protection and it stays on. BUT the shades have been extremely yellow and unnatural looking and had the heavy makeup look. Did not matter how well or lightly I applied it. Plus, accentuated lines and made my skin look dull and dry. Tried this Illumination in Fair Light because it claimed to be a cooler tone, rather than yellow. It's still too yellow. But, I tried the same shade in Your Skin but Better and the Illumination is far less yellow and way way way more natural looking. Found nothing greasy or sparkly about it. Just a natural glow. And no heavy ,makeup look. Did not dry me out or accentuate wrinkles as much, either. Now, if only IT can truly come up with a pink undertone, this would be perfect. However, it's close and I finally found one that I don't mind wearing in public! Strongly urge you to give this one a try! Only gave it 3 stars for moisturizing, cause zinc is still zinc. But it's not drying! Would be 4-5 stars across the board, if can come up with pinker shade! I see I am not the only one who has made this plea to IT. Anyway, please give this one a try!! ... show more
