This under eye concealer is effective and long lasting. It covers well without using much, although a little more can be applied if needed. I use a thin applicator with a blunt pointed edge (size of a toothpick), dip it into the top of the tube, apply it, and lightly spread it with my finger to even it out. That's it. I like it better than Laura Geller's Real Deal Concealer. UPDATE: Since using this concealer for months now, the effect has changed recently. I use it as an under eye cover, and lately the concealer has dried to a slightly whitish color. I use the same amount and same routine every time and don't understand the reason it has changed. I have used Laura Geller's Real Deal Concealer and liked it a lot but the price really went up, so I thought I'd try IT Cosmetics. Geller's Real Deal Concealer went on smoothly and gave complete coverage. I again ordered Geller's product but this time tried the Ideal Fix Concealer and found it to be exactly what I needed. It gives excellent coverage and leaves no indication of using any concealer. It blends in perfectly and am so very happy with it. And the price was right. ... show more

This is without a doubt the one concealer that I don't need to use a corrector with. It is quite thick, takes a minute to blend and it isn't something that you use to help with highlighting and contouring. Use a little setting powder because it doesn't dry down and it lasts all day. It will always be one of my favorite concealers. If I see it on sale, I snatch it up because it is kind of pricy. Since I don't use a color corrector, I do go slightly darker to get a match than I normally would, so keep that in mind. I'm glad we are no longer going for ghost looks. ... show more

You need a very tiny amount as it is very thick. I bought a slightly more orange color to cancel out the blue in my dark circles, but that might not be your case. It does not dry out and looks natural. However, I do see a tiny bit of creasing, which I fix by a slight dab of my finger. Maybe that’s just my moisturizer that doesn’t match with this product. Could probably work better with a good grippy primer. Tarte concealer is the one I used before, it works, but creases a lot. Now I don’t have to use a concealer all over my face to balance out the colors. If you were looking for a more natural look this might be It 🙃 ... show more
