Description

iSonic P4830-SAA Commercial Ultrasonic Cleaner, 3.2Qt/3L, white color, plastic basket, heater, drain, 220V, Australian plug. It's equipped with an industrial grade ultrasonic stack transducer which is twice stronger and more durable compared to wafer transducers used by some manufacturers in their commercial models. 1 to 30-minute full range timer with quick set button and reducing button for fine tuning. Drain makes it easy to discharge water. Hose is supplied. The tank is sized for half-size cassettes for dental applications. The stainless steel tank is also polished for easy cleaning. Heater with 5 settings: 104, 113, 122, 131 and 140 °F / 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 °C. Thermometer to show approximate actual temperature ranges. Solution usage timer to set and track how long the solution is used for. Degas function for removing air bubble after pouring in fresh water. Cooling fan helps for longer operation. Overheat protector prevents the unit being overused which could cause overheating. Quieter than most competitors' products. 5 international safety certifications including GS for Germany which has the toughest safety standard assure highest quality.

The ultrasonic mechanism seems to work fine. However, I only recently tried to use the heater and discovered that it doesn't work. I suspect that it never did work but I have waited too long to request a return. **Update** I like the appearance of this unit and the fact that it has a drain so, in spite of my poor experience with the previous unit, I ordered another one. The heater has quit working after one month. This time, though, I am within the timeframe to request a free replacement. Hoping for better luck with the next one . . . . We'll see. **Update #2** The heater on my replacement unit has gone out after less than 3 weeks use! ... show more

It came as described and is working well. I really like that it has a timer that is up to 30 minutes so I don't have to keep going back and starting the timer again. The one I had previously had a timer that only went up to 8 minutes. This one only cost a few dollars more and has many more features. My only concern is the user manual that came with it is blurry. Looks like it was double printed so I can't read many of the pages. I have contacted isonic to try and get a manual and waiting on a reply. ... show more

I just unpacked this today and was impressed that the instructions were in plain english. I bought to clean a carburetor but have been cleaning jewelry all afternoon. I threw in a wet/dry electric razor that is 15 years old. My wife and I were both very pleased with the results using only plain water. I can't wait to try that carb. Update: called customer service and was told I would have to pay to send it back for repair and that warranty does not cover replacing it. When I questioned him he laughed at me! Bought this on November 19th, everything was working good until 2 days ago when the heater stopped working. Still pulses but will not get hot. Ler heater run for over 2 hours twice and still ice cold water. Figures for the money it would last more than 2 months. ... show more

My ultrasonic came without a power cord. Additionally, one of the basket handles was broken off. The unit had some evidence of having been used and returned. I cannot rate the product on its function. I have returned and ordered another of the same make/model. I will update the review if the new unit arrives complete and in better condition than the one I returned. ***UPDATE*** The second ultrasonic unit came today in brand new condition. The unit arrived with both a power supply cord and a drain hose. As much as I can tell, the unit is working as described. I do wish there was a screen on the drain hole in the ultrasonic reservoir to prevent small parts from accidentally passing into the drain. ... show more
