I bought this water bottle for my 3rd grader at the start of the school year. He wanted a blue ombré water bottle in stainless steel with a straw. I must have read 100 reviews before I chose this one and I’m so glad I picked it. It came nicely packaged with multiple straws, various lids (chug/straw depending on preference, and some cute sticker labels that can be placed on the bottle if you choose) as well as a warranty code. I did register the warranty on the Iron Flask website just to be safe. He’s been using it for about 3 months and it still looks brand new. Considering he’s an 8 year old boy and lugs it around in a backpack that gets tossed on the ground, drops the bottle on the floor, etc. I expected some damage by this point (from previous experience even with more expensive high end brand water bottles) but it’s still in perfect condition. I didn’t purchase the extra silicone boot for the bottom or a neoprene cover or any extra protection so it would easily fit in his lunchbox pocket or backpack side pocket and I’m glad because it wasn’t necessary. No dents, dings or paint chipping. I do hand wash it. The most impressive feature is how cold it keeps the water. It was a week of 90 degree days and I had filled the bottle with cold water and just a few ice cubes around 7am on a Friday. After a 4 day weekend I realized I had forgotten to wash his water bottle for the upcoming school week and when I opened it the ice cubes were still frozen! I couldn’t believe it. Especially since his backpack spent all day Saturday in our garage (which doesn’t have air conditioning or any kind of climate control). I will definitely purchasing Iron Flask products in the future! I paid full price for this item (no discount, no free trial/sample, etc. and no request from the company for a review). I got this to take with me when I exercise. First it s easy to hold. It’s pretty. It’s not too big. I put ice and water in it at 1pm. This morning I picked it up and shook it and I heard the ice inside. Opened it and took a sip with my meds and it was still ice cold. I’m so happy a product does what it says. This is my 2nd 64 is iorn flask water bottle . I left the last one at the park on accident and I won’t even consider another brand . I like the wide mouth better than the smaller mouth but they both are great . It keeps my water cold for at least 3 days . I haven’t tried for longer . I got the dark purple option of this bottle and it is super pretty and very handy. All the lids are leak proof and seem to be holding up well. I haven't put it in the dishwasher but it's easy enough to wash by hand. Keeps my drinks cold all day. Overall it was a good buy. My issue is with the company logo. The company (or bottle or whatever) is called "Iron Flask", and the little logo thing is an "F" in a square with a little degree dot up in the corner. Like fahrenheit inside a square. Like its cool if you want your logo to be something referring to temperature because this thing keeps your drink cold, I guesssssss it makes sense, but with some tweaking they could've made their logo way better. It could be an "Fe" with a square around it. So simple. So similar. Why would they do that, you ask? Because they're called iron flask, and "Fe" is the symbol for iron on the periodic table. This missed opportunity almost ruined the whole bottle for me because I literally can't even look at it without wondering why they wouldn't make that change. If they had a totally different logo, I wouldn't even give it a second thought, but it already looks soooooo similar to the periodic table symbol for iron, it's like they did it on purpose. Like there was some kind of meeting where all the little execs got together to figure out a logo, and someone said "listen guys, we can have a cool periodic table logo playing off the fact that our company is called iron flask. heres my sketch for the logo design, its just a square with Fe in the middle." and some dude named Chad was all like "Okay Bob you freaking nerd, no one knows what the periodic table is anyway. So let's take your idea and tweak it so it makes absolutely no sense. Who's with me?!" and everyone was with him, because Chad is cool and reminiscent of the high school jock they all wanted to be friends with, and Bob has unresolved high school trauma that was triggered by Chad calling him nerdy, so he won't stand up for himself and his awesome idea. And now we all have to suffer for it. I'm sorry for pointing this out to everyone reading my review. But if I can't unsee this missed opportunity, neither can anyone else. My hope is that with enough people taking the same issue with the logo, this company will finally cave and go with Bobs idea and tell Chad to shove it. I'd like a replacement bottle as soon as they do because it's inconvenient to not get the outside of my bottle wet so I don't ruin the sticker covering up the faulty logo. ... show more

We’ve had this water bottle for a month now for our kids. This one specifically is our 9 year olds. I love that it holds the temp and keeps ice solid for over 8 hours. The biggest complaint I have is the metal it is made out of must be very thin as my daughter dropped it one time from her desk and when it hit the bottom of the bottle it crushed it in- it no longer sits flat on a surface. We own other bottles by other manufacturers and none of my bottoms have crushed in. All in all a good product, just wish the bottom was reinforced. I assume we will have problems with this bottle soon enough but for now it’s fine, just doesn’t look as cute lol ... show more
