I used the IPower GLJMPFOLD4 4 ft Folding Grow Light Stand, because it didn’t already come with a LED Grow Tube Light. I had previously purchased a LED Grow Tube Light at a hardware store. Using it for the 2.5 x 5 x 5 homemade grow tent to hang the lights and a small exaust fan. Works great. Not afraid it'll break and it's perfect with my homemade tent as it's mobil and I didn't put strong enough frame to hold weight.

I knew that for $30, I wouldn't be getting a quality stand. The stand is really simple to unfold and fold. It does have sharp edges but, it comes with gloves to protect the hands. The negative is that the pulley system is a joke. It's a rope system. The rope is not that sturdy or well secured. A plastic slide moves up and down in the middle to secure the rope for the desired lamp height. This system failed when I was hanging a four bulb lamp. Specifically, the plastic slider failed and would have let the lamp fall if I weren't holding it. It's not a deal breaker for me though. I have chains and hooks that I can use. It will just require me to raise and lower the lamp manually, but I'll trust that better than the rope, slider, and clips. Anyhow, I really only wanted the stand to expand the area where I start plants. In a few weeks, when it's warm enough, everything will be moved to a grow table in my basement, and the stand will be stored until next year. While extremely easy to assemble, the design of this stand could use some simple improvements. First and foremost: make the height adjustable!! I’m using indoors over a standard height folding table so to get my light far away from my plants (even with the lamp pulled up as high as possible on the rack) , I’m having to rest each side of the rack atop 2 cInder blocks. Would be so easy to design the legs to be telescoping so one could adjust the entire rack to be taller. My next issue is that the depth of the rack when the feet are extended is 20.5 inches, NOT 16.+. This may make a difference to someone. I agree with others about it likely not being able to hold a heavy light. Also, be aware that your light cannot be pulled up to the very top of the rack. The design does not allow for it. At top setting, my light hangs down approximately a foot, making the under surface of my light about 3 feet off the floor. I’m not putting all my plants on the floor.. they are in tables as i mentioned and unfortunately i cannot lower my table height. All in all I’m making It work but it is costing me extra to solve the whole height thing. ... show more

This is very similar to what I was looking for. Although it said adjustable I misinterpreted that. I thought it meant the legs were adjustable. I think I can remedy that by myself. Lightweight and would definitely buy more if I needed them.
