I've had laser hair removal done professionally years ago, and when this one did not produce the same pain as those, I considered returning it. But, I kept with it, doing it 3x a week, it takes me about 30-40 minutes. It's week 3 and there is a noticeable difference. I have a tattoo on my leg, that I can't use the laser on, to compare it to. For reference, I have thick, black hair. I literally need to shave daily. I have used this device about 8-9 times (more than you would if it was done in a spa), and the difference is so significant. I bought this not knowing I'd it was going to be a cheap Amazon product but im pleasantly surprised that it ACTUALLY works. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and so far I'm seeing great results. I have long dark hairs and after shaving it usually grows in a day or two (so very quick). But I noticed that it's taking almost a week for my hairs to grow in. Even if it doesn't get rid of the hairs completely, it IS growing in a lot slower. I use it on the highest setting and there is little to no pain just a minor "pinch" feeling.
