It isn't the highest quality material and the back is particle board. But I had a narrow space to put it and the dimensions are accurate. Easy to put together, looks just like the picture. I am very happy with it.

I bought two of these to fit under a window. I put them together by myself. The first one took about two hours (with breaks) and the second one went together faster. As someone else noted, make sure your side panels line up (the front is the front, and back is the back) before you tighten everything. I tried painting the back panels before installing but these are too glossy (and I was too lazy to sand). But I'm super happy with the look, these were packed very well, and the instructions were as good as any IKEA furniture. ... show more

Since the box arrived quite banged up with corner and other damages I wished I had not bothered. Then I gave it a chance. There was some damage to the back facing which I was able to hide. The shelf came together nicely and seems sturdy enough to hold my collection of craft books. Instructions and hardware were carefully wrapped. 5 stars for the intricate and excellent instructions, probably the best I have ever seen. ❤️ The shelf looks just as advertised. The only missing star is that I looked forward to a warm yellow. Instead I received a blond wood lookalike. If I had known this I would have ordered the blue color. Overall I am pleased. I placed felt stickies to the bottom to prevent scratches on my floor. Also have felt stickies on the back panels for added wall protection. I do suggest though that the seller label the packaging as "fragile" so that it will be handled better by FEDDEX or UPS. ... show more

The unit is finished on both sides, no raw edge. All the screws in holes fit perfectly, all the edges are smooth and meet perfectly. Unit is completely sturdy when standing on its own, no wobble. The screws don’t have finished stickers over the top of them, but it isn’t really an issue

While the pieces were packaged well and arrived in good condition, the quality of the mass produced pieces resulted in an ill-fitting and unflattering finished product. The screw heads are left showing on the top and are be covered with stickers. Very disappointing. The cardboard back came in three separate pieces!! Why? Since they didn't line up, it left the top jutting up over top of the bookcase. Looks like crap. And the legs are so thin, it's wobbly. (Updated...adding books stabilized it a bit. Still recommend anchoring if used on carpet) Updated: While it's not very expensive, it's still disappointing to have the stickers in plain view on the tops of the shelves. And they catch the book edges. I like the offsets for the spaces...may keep shelves from sagging. I just wish more thought had been given to how it would look after assembly. ... show more

All components arrived in perfect condition. (The top shelf did have on smallish scrape which I could have turned over if I’d seen it.) The shelves and supporting pieces are cut and drilled accurately. Assembly straight forward. Extra screws. Also very nice to use those gloves when putting screws in by hand. Wow. And there is a drill bit for the type of screws. I didn’t realize this until near the end, but super nice to finish the process of final tightening. Would recommend listing that drill bit with the screws, etc. Really happy. Light weight for lightweight items. ... show more

It took me a really long time to find something attractive, simple but most importantly I needed the cubby area to be large enough for bigger toys. This fit it all! HOWEVER it is wobbly and does not sit flush on the floor. The 3 back cardboard pieces are just 2mm shy in being about to be nailed down so only the top parts are nailed down and if you hit against it they rattle. They do come with hooks so I'll def be having to attach them to the wall. Otherwise color is gorgeous and it'll get the job done for a kids room. ... show more
