    • Unhappy the textbook and workbook do not coincide! False advertising!
I purchased this for my daughter along with the textbook amazon advertised as a matching set. Well, guess what... it’s not. It does not coincide. I’m very disappointed and I am out $35.00. This is why I will no longer purchase anything from amazon. It’s always a problem ordering from this website.

    • Not really much help for $35
I was disappointed with this workbook. There were very few visual study aids like illustrations of the different systems or organs, and the information touched on seemed haphazardly presented and a bit terse. I homeschool and my kids like to research topics and discover facts for themselves, so I thought this would give them a good basic framework to delve further. Nope. Most of the book is devoted to dogs. The other creatures like birds, horses, etc, get just a few pages with very little information. I wish I could get my money back. ... show more

    • Great book, small disappointment in the reptile area.
Bought it for my son, he seems to love it, although he was slightly disappointed due to its lack of reptile information (He says its only a 4 page section). We are buying it's counterpart, the textbook, because some concepts aren't very well described to a new learner. Would probably be great for a veterinary student or a revision for a current vet or vet technician. ... show more

Good book to understand the animal anatomy. I don't think this is a book for beginners. My daughter is 11 and reads it, but I wished it was a bit more simple.

Not many diagrams but that is not the point. Clear and concise and a helpful learning tool. Now if I could just get rid of the horrible stench the book has I could look at it more. Not certain if returning it for another would help, I figure they are all stored the same. Three star for smell and will be returning for hopefully a copy that does not reek. ... show more
