    • Very Nice Bible
Very Nice Bible. I suggest Amazon shipping to not ship the Bible in a carrugated shipping sleeve as it will compress the sides and corners of the product box - but the box did it's job protecting the Bible inside. Amazing Bible - easy to read - Quality construction.

    • Nice but mine came with a small defect
The first 10 or so pages on mine have a slight crease in them about 2 inches long. I don't think it was damaged in shipping, maybe it was from the manufacturer or maybe this was on the shelves in a store somewhere and was mishandled. I also noticed that stitching on the leather where the crease in the pages are had been pulled loose. This indicates to me that someone previously seriously mishandled this Bible and I am exchanging it for a new non damaged one. It is too expensive to ship with defects like that. Aside from the defect it is a nice Bible. Easy to read, very small without getting down into pocket or gimmick size. The leather is very nice and the paper is very thin but high quality. The ribbons are different blue colors and all of them were nicely laid floating the Bible so they all came without weird creases in them like many Bible ribbons often do. The blue goatskin is very dark and nice looking. The art guilding is blue stain with gold with is an interesting combination mixing cold and warm tones. The font is easy to read, dark, good red for words of Christ. The paper is very thin, but also very good quality. I wouldn't read it outside on a windy day. The text is simple, no interpretations/intros, limited alternate translations, no chapter titles or section titles. No distractions from the actual scripture other than links to other scriptures and some Hebrew translation notes. If you like small, simple, nice Bibles this is a really nice choice. I exchanged the Bible that came damaged and received one that came in perfect condition no loose threads or creased pages. I think I will make this my new main reading Bible. Comparing this with the clarion, pocket reference, topaz, and turquoise I like this one best for handheld reading. ... show more
