  • Skeptical at first, but after first use (so far) it’s a solid product
Style: Queen Pattern Name: 22in
I initially bought this to stay at my MIL’s senior community (to help her get settled), so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it and I planned to leave it for other relatives that might want to visit. I expected it to be cheap-ish quality and probably not last through my two week stay. First off, set up was a breeze. I laid it out and started inflation and it took about 4-5 minutes to fully inflate. The motor made noise, but it’s to be expected from something like this—I can say that it wasn’t as noisy as our Costco-bought mattress. Second, it’s big—but that’s not a bad thing as much as I thought anyway after I saw it fully inflated. Turns out, for me, it’s a good thing. Our Costco mattress sits low to the floor and as it deflates a bit during the night, it’s tough to get up. This one (the 22” model and the largest one at this writing) is wonderful as I can sit on the edge of it and stand up easily. Your experience may be different, but for older folks it makes it really easy to get out of bed in the morning. How does it sleep? Well, since I was visiting by myself and my significant other wasn’t with me, I can only speak for a single sleeper. It was really comfortable! It did take a bit of tweaking though as I thought I would like it more firm as I like to side sleep. The first couple of nights were a bit rough as I tossed and turned a bit in my sleep—I found that I couldn’t get comfortable on my side. For the reviews that say that it deflates after sleeping on it, I can say that it did seem to lose some air after the first two nights. The manufacturer does state that it does “stretch” and not deflate. As I wanted to test that statement, I didn’t change the firmness of it by re-inflating it to where I had it. The third and fourth nights were better sleep and I didn’t feel like the mattress deflated at all, so I found the stretch statement to be valid—it wasn’t losing air. After that night, I re-inflated it to where I thought I’d like it. The next night was the same tossing and turning that I had those first two nights, so I concluded that I needed to make it less firm and I actually DEflated it a bit and for the rest of the stay it was perfect! I didn’t have to touch it and I even unplugged it. When I was getting ready to leave, I started the deflation process by turning the dial in the opposite direction. It took longer to deflate, so I walked away for a bit—I’d guess about 7-8 minutes. When I came back the mattress was flat as a pancake and ready to fold. This is the only hassle of the process as folding it to get it into the storage bag and back into the box (for storage). I do like the tote that they provide as the handles make it easy to lug about. So, the first use was a success. If repeated uses reveal issues, I’ll report back. I will say that I plan to buy another one to replace our beloved Costco air mattress—she’s showing her age and the height of this one as well as the cost make it a no-brainer to get it as a second. We’ll use this one until it dies (if it even does) and then fall back on our old one if needed. I gave an overall 5 stars for the product with 4 stars for sleep quality and comfort only because your idea of these two might be a bit of a learning experience until you find your inflation sweet spot—so it’s not just an “inflate fully and use” type of scenario. ... show more

  • Good Quality
Style: Queen Pattern Name: 22in
Intex is a brand known for good quality and this air mattress did not disappoint. I moved from a 1 BR to a 2 BR and needed an additional sleeping space for guests. But I don't have guests often so I got this air mattress. It's easy to fill/deflate. After the first blow up/stretching, the air stays in very well, no leaks. The height is comparable to a real bed. And it is very comfortable. The price is reasonable. I am very satisfied with this mattress. I've had guests a few times and there have been no complaints. ... show more

  • It's amazing.
Style: Queen Pattern Name: 22in
I had regular Intex queen mattress for camping, but had knee surgery and needed something a little higher so I wouldn't have to call for help to get in and out of bed, this mattress is amazing, extended height is perfect, not help needed to get out of bed, comfortable, folds right up and even got a storage bag. Sturdy, and so easy to inflate and deflate. Absolutely recommend. ... show more

  • Good quality
Style: Twin Pattern Name: 18in
We bought this as a replacement for an air mattress we had for years. This is pretty tall but it’s comfortable. It does lose air over a few days and you need to do a brief pump up. It’s also quite noisy when you move around on it, but I haven’t found an air mattress that isn’t noisy. Overall it’s very good quality for the price ... show more

  • Blew up fast and stayed aired!
Style: Full Pattern Name: 13in
There two 230lb women sleeping on the air mattress and I’m surprised it hasn’t flattened out. Light and easy to plug in and air up. Soft and durable with pretty good support and height off the floor. Great buy and definitely gonna keep this around for another time :)

  • Great choice for an air mattress .
Style: Queen Pattern Name: 22in
I was a little worried about some of the reviews saying that it would deflate easy, or it was comfy, but now that I have used it multiple times, for me that is not the case. It is easy to inflate, doesn’t take long, doesn’t deflate fast, the first time I used it, it obviously stretched but other than that it was fine. It’s a good height, and is very comfortable. It takes a bit to deflate but that’s about it. I love it! I used it for people staying over in my dorm and my apartment, so it’s perfect to store and travel as well. It is quite loud to inflate though. ... show more

  • 18” is really tall. Comfy though. [updated]
Style: Twin Pattern Name: 18in
[update] ordered the 13" as it would be a better fit camping. just as good as the 18", just shorter. much better fit for my needs. keeping the 18" as it may come in handy some day. fills up slightly faster as it requires less air. very slight odor on new bed, dissipates in a day or so. as others have stated, a brand new, unused bed, will stretch the first few nights you use it. it will seem like it has deflated, but it hasn't, just ballooning out a bit. give it a few nights, re-adjust the pressure, and you'll be fine. if you're using it camping in a tent, like i am. the air temperature changes will matter too. fill it up tight at 80 degrees and it drops down to 60 at night, the air will compress and it will seem like it deflates a bit. beware over-inflating it cool because the air will expand when it warms up again. this will happen with any air mattress without insulation surrounding it. air mattresses also suck the heat out of your body, great in hot weather, but not so good when it gets cool. you will likely want a good thermal pad between you and the mattress (which is why i changed for the 13" from the 18"). when camping i put down the air mattress, my thermal pad, a quilt, bedsheet, then me, sheet, blankets on top. super comfy and stay warm. in hot summer i can skip the thermal pad. if you're using this indoors you won't need all this. [original review] Picked up the 18” for camping because it was cheaper than the 13” (go figure). Inflates quick, but you’ll need a power bank with AC jack or stand alone pump. Inflates quickly with the built in pump. Pretty firm and comfortable. But I didn’t realize just how high the 18” would be, and I add another 3” insulated foam top to that. So if you’re camping you might want to go with the 13”. Bottom isn’t very rugged, so don’t place it over anything sharp. Sized right for one person. Packs small and pretty light weight. Hopefully will last more than one year. ... show more
