I ordered a fuse holder and expected one like the photo (black base and clear cover) which is really too nice to put in the engine bay. What I recieved was a clear base and cover with all gold components that is definitely not going to be installed anywhere that it's not visible to see. This unit is compact yet designed well . I had a little issue with the 1 "Ott" cable as it was too large even with the insert removed and had to trim off some of the copper strand to use. Only recommendation would be to have a color where the upper and lower cover goes to make sure that there are no loose strands of wire where the halves meet that could be sticking out and ground to the floor if metal ... show more

Used this in a dual battery setup on on each side of the isolator. This is better than I expected, yes looked at the measurements, but still was shocked at how big it was.. haha. Not sure why, but one of the 4 mounting holes is smaller than the other 3, so -1 star for install, had to use different size screw(yeah, could have drilled it out bigger to match, but why?). Other than that, feels like a great purchase. Of of the holders I used the center location for the screw to hold it down. ... show more
