  • seems like they will fit and work great
unfortunately, weather warmed and snow melted before we could actually get out and give these a really good test. but from a brief walk around the yard, seemed to work fine. a bit ridiculous that the collapsible poles provided do not fit in the carrying bag, but fairly minor issue. but if going to provide the bag, at least make sure all the pieces fit! ... show more

  • Excellent feel and control
Color: Blue Size: 21" (65 - 155 lbs)
I am an avid hiker/backpacker who used to also snowboard a lot before I got married and started a family. For years, I had been wanting to own snowshoes because renting them added up cost over time. First, I got myself a MSR -- no question about it, it is one of THE top brands -- and wow, what a difference it made while walking around in deep and shallow snow! However, at over $300, it was a steep price my wife did not want to spend. When I came across this Inhe one, the feature specs sounded quite good, and I decided to get it for my wife to try out. After having rented cheaper ones from our local sporting goods store, she loves this Inhe set! She tested the shoes on 20-30% snow covered inclines, declines, and off-camber traverses, and she was impressed (as was I as an observer) by how solidly she was able to navigate. Not one time did I see her boot sliding forward or backward in the binding (which she later confirmed), and most importantly, she said that they felt comfortable. PROS - Good performance and grip - Quick mount/dismount - Heel lift makes it less tiring to traverse up - Adjustable hiking poles included with snow baskets - Material appears well made CONS - Without binding pivots, mobility is not as easy. Still, this set was good enough to maneuver with For sizing, take into consideration your weight + winter clothing + food and water + other weight. The stated, total weight limit is 155 lbs (for 21" version), and if you significantly overpack, the shoes could sink more in snow than you would like. Overall, the wife is quite happy with these snow shoes, and equally as important, after seeing the value of quality shoes, she is no longer as upset with me for having splurged on the MSR one :) ... show more

  • sturdy and light
Color: Black Size: 30" (150 - 260 lbs)
I picked up a set of 30 inch snow shoes for myself. Im constantly looking for gear that is more comfortable or lighter in weight. The set comes with a pair of snow shoes, a pair of collapsable poles, and a carrying case. The shoes have a 1/2 inch steel frame and is wrapped in black plastic. Its held together by metal rivets. You can adjust the how tight the snow attaches to your foot wear at two locations across the top. They connect with a buckle similar to a snow board binding. I found it easy to operate and simple to adjust. There is a 3rd strap that goes around the back of your heel and this is adjusted with a belt style of connection. When going up hill you can extend a metal bar that increases the angle of approach and reduces the travel of step. On the bottom you can find aggressive spikes that help with traction on ice or packed snow. The poles are a simple design and similar to any collapsing hiking or ski pole. These are made of metal and are a bit on the heavy side. They lock in the selected height by twisting the connecting sections clockwise to tighten and counter clockwise to loosen. You are given a few accessories to add to the pole to help with pushing through the snow. Overall I like the feel and the weight of the shoe. It held up great in extreme cold and deep snow. The poles felt cheap and didn't lock in position well enough and may need to be readjusted frequently. You can toss these to the side and use a better carbon fiber or aluminum pole instead. This is a great starter set and gives you everything you would need to get out on a snow shoeing adventure right away. It has a good bang for buck price for a complete set. ... show more

  • I'll be ready to explore the area once the snow comes back with these snow shoes
Color: Black Size: 30" (150 - 260 lbs)
As there was no snow yet and not any for a while I had to try these snow shoes out in my house for ease of wear. The poles come with three end cap set ups for different conditions from hiking to snow shoeing. Each one has numbered distance markers on them so you can gauge your adjustment to make sure they are even with each other, though I found the last numbers quickly turned into the piece separating when you pulled a little too far which you need to be careful of. Twisting the poles would then lock them into a length position. The snow shoes themselves are made of very sturdy materials such as a heavy duty plastic and metal frame. The cleats on the bottom will do well in gripping in to ice when needed. I did feel that the straps were a little difficult to adjust, especially when loosening up and trying to take off the snow shoes. There were no included direction in how to go about easily loosening up the straps. The whole set comes with an additional carrier bag to be able to store the set for your next use. ... show more

  • Happy so far!
Color: Black Size: 30" (150 - 260 lbs)
These are lightweight and sturdy feeling. They have a heel bar for walking up steep surfaces to keep your foot more level and reduce calf strain. Included are poles with interchangeable ends for different terrains. I like that the snow baskets can be removed from the ends of the poles so that they can be used as regular hiking poles. They twist to adjust in two different sections and extend to almost 54”, which is tall enough for almost anyone (my wife is 5’6” and uses them at just under 46”). A carrying bag is included with a shoulder strap, though the bag isn’t super high quality. No snow yet this year so I haven’t been able to test these guys but they have any easy on/off strap system, feel lightweight and sturdy, and so far are just what I was looking for. I’ll update if there are any issues after I’ve been able to use them in the snow. ... show more

I purchased these for work, and they haven't been used much but they have worked well so far. The poles and carrying bag they come with are great too! I'll update the review when we use them more.
