  • It fit my 2008 Honda Element
Assembly was a little tricky since I didn’t have the right tools. Installation was easier but I also watched a couple YouTube videos.

  • Solid but rubber boot doesn't fit well.
Too many imperfections.

  • Racks fit well.
The racks are easy to install. They work brilliantly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the rubber boots don’t naturally fit into place. I used a sealant to make them adhere to the frame and keep them watertight.

  • Worst product I have ever used
This is the absolute worst product I've ever had the displeasure of using. I bought it as a Christmas present for my girlfriend whose getting into camping. However, after an entire afternoon sitting in the Walmart parking lot, trying every possible way of making this work, I gave up. I'm throwing this garbage in the box and sending it back. As other reviews have mentioned, the boot fitment is terrible. Even if it had worked, the rubber covers would have been sticking up in numerous places and formed no seal against the elements. That said, I tried to force it anyways, willing to overlook this for the promise of roof racks. Alas, because the awful instructions were barely coherent, I went through hours of trial and error to no avail. It seemed like it was almost going to work at one point, at least until I went to mount both sides and never could get proper alignment. Normally I disregard the negative reviews, but they are absolutely warranted in this case. I'll be ordering the OEM Honda version asap. Forget this overpriced, ill made Chinese junk. ... show more

  • Front brackets do not sit flush
As everyone else has said, the fitment sucks. The front brackets sit about 3mm too high, so isn't flush with the trim. I sent mine back.

  • Works
Ok to install , fitment could be worked on a little bit for quality they are good and are more sturdy than the factory rails.

  • Hardware is terrible. No instructions. Pictures on the buyers site are incorrect.
The rubber base gasket is ill fitting due to 3 oversized castings on the mounting tower. The hardware to attach the rail to the mounting towers simply does not work. The plate supplied does not fit into the slot provided and the threading on the plate in SAE and the bolt is metric. I had to buy all new hardware for the rails . Additionally the page labeled instructions was noting more than a picture of what was provided. It took 3 try's to figure out the right mounting tower to use based on a asymmetric cross member extrusion. Picture on the web page show the front cross member on the rear mounting towers. The advertisement indicates that the rack can support 150 lbs. The front cross member indicates 75 lbs. That may be for each cross member but it is not qualified. All of that said for those of us faced with an OEM option for our Elements this is still a good buy. A bit of patience and some ingenuity will pay off. ... show more
