  • My last resort and it saved my fig!
Size: 8 oz
I bought a fiddle leaf fig a few years back and from the start it has not thrived. I know these things are finicky and if you so much as breathe the wrong way they die. Well, after some time of meddling and trying to figure out what I was doing wrong I gave up and thought for sure it would eventually just die on me. But it didn't. But I couldn't make it better. I had been eyeing this up for quite some time and never followed through until I finally had enough and just bought it. Figured that either I'll wind up speeding the death process or a miracle will occur. I don't believe in magic nor do I ever have the odds in my favor no matter what I do but I kid you not this stuff is some witchcraft. It wasn't until the third time I consecutively used this during watering did I notice a difference. It didn't happen right after watering but maybe two or three days afterwards. One night the leaves were limp, crisp, looking sad and miserable. The next morning, leaves standing upright. I thought nothing of it but made a mental note. I continued using this during watering and started noticing new baby leaves growing, at rapid rate. Leaves having more shine, beautiful dark green color. Mind-blown. My miracle had occurred despite my pessimistic outlook and thoughts of my fig just succumbing to a slow dragging death. I was shocked. My husband, who doesn't ever pay attention to the plants, had even mentioned how they looked more alive. Fiddles are one of my favorite plants and I always wanted multiple. After having this one and struggling with it, I reserved myself to never getting another one ever again. But now, I'm starting to think I just might be able to get a second one in the future. This is definitely something I'm going to keep using! ... show more

  • Definitely worth it!
This plant food works wonderfully! I had some plants that were just not doing their best going into the growing season. But this fertilizer definitely perked them up and cause a growing boom. Maybe the growth spurt would’ve happened anyway, but it definitely didn’t happen last year and this is the only change I’ve made. I stuck to the recommended dosage and I didn’t feel it harmed any of my plants. I mix it in with water, it mixes up pretty easily, and water them normally, and if they are a little dryer I water them a bit more with plain water. I have just a regular jar that I’ve marked and I fill and mix with that. I have all types of plants - donkey tail, monstera, pothos, aloe, bird of paradise, coleus, kalanchoe, olive, other succulents, coffee plant - and it perked all of them up, with the exception of my finicky maidenhair fern. My fiddle leaf fig was particularly revived; it had been slowly dropping leaves and I had finally found a decent spot for it where it stopped dropping leaves but with the fertilizer over the growing season it actually started growing and giving new leaves. My friendship plant flowered this year, and I didn’t even know it did that! I even started a few seeds that had been stubbornly refusing to sprout for weeks and I do feel that this helped them finally sprout. I do think you should stick to the recommended dosage, definitely less is more and let it build up in the plant naturally. It will seem like it’s slow to work, the plants perked up almost immediately as they do after a good watering but to see actual growth took weeks. I’ve used this over the warm growing season almost every time I’ve watered, skipping a few times where I was short on time and just needed to get them watered, and they’ve done great! For the cold dormant season I’ll have to wait and see, as I have in the past, and feel out what each plant seems to need or is lacking. I do wish the container was a bit bigger, because in the warm season you do have to water more often, but it is still a good deal, and you can always minimize feedings or amount and I do think it’ll still make a difference. ... show more

  • Great Food. My plants Love it!
Size: 8 oz
I wish had remembered to take a picture when I first had them in our little jelly jar with just water, we kept adding the water when it needed. They were in there for at least two years or more. The roots were all crowded and all I could tell was there as a couple of arrowhead leaves and a few philodendrons not growing much past the jar, it was hard to tell anything past that. So I took them planted them in my little 8” red pot (in the picture), fed them with this food and sat it in my window sill. In a month they were too big for the pot. So I planted them in my larger pot white pot (in the picture). Now I could see there was definitely two plants. So I parting them just a little I placed the 1 arrowhead plant in the center and the philodendron on the outer side. At least 2 more months later I had to gently separated them into their own pots! Throughout this process I fed them with only this food mixed as directed. Well maybe a little extra in the water. However now they are really spreading out. I have wound up with 4 arrowhead plants somehow and 2 philodendrons that when I laid the vine across the dirt with this food in the dirt the roots took hold so I say this stuff is great! I thought I would never grown my arrowhead so big like my mom use to but I’m proud to say my arrowheads are awesome. I just ordered a new bottle. Much appreciated the makers of this plant grown! ... show more

  • Works phenomenally
Size: 8 oz
I love this product! Used it on pothos, calathea, majesty palm and monstera deliciosa and all had a significant bump in growth and sprouted new leaves! I was especially happy about my monstera because I put it outside for an hour and the leaves got severely burned. I had to cut off a lot and it wasn't looking good for a while and was struggling to survive. I used this once and it immediately perked up and sent out new smaller leaves on the bottom of plant. After 2nd use, it sprouted 5 new big leaves with fenastrations! I was so freaking happy. I did dilute it a lot though, mostly because I was scared and read that you should adjust dosage based on light access and my plants don't get a ton of natural light, so I diluted it at 4x the suggested ratio and it worked great! ... show more
