The product is exactly what you need, but if you are going to change the oil on the Indian Scout, and the previous person put the oil filter on too tight, it's a really confined space. You may need to elevate the front tire to give you a few more inches to work in the area.

Oil was as stated. Oil filter in this kit was the wrong p/n! Had to get one locally to replace the one in this kit

I changed my ftr1200 oil while it was on a rear stand. After tightening the drain plugs and putting on the oil filter, I put the 4 qts supplied of 15w 60 through oil cap. I let the oil drain from each qt into a funnel to the engine for 3 min a piece. After running out of oil, it was still not visible in the sight glass. I removed the bike from the stand resting the bike on the side stand. Still no oil in the sight glass. ... show more
