I use 1/4" risers so don't know about pressure cracks but not included independent risers is solid set for most standard trucks. A bit to much bevel kinda miniscule but bores into deck.

    • Bolts is bolts and cheap and solid is where it's at
It's nice to have some confidence that hardware is a known brand even though they aren't in some mission critical aircraft application, you can still shear bolts slamming into a slappy noseslide. But in spite of being a "name" they are on the inexpensive side which is also very cool. The lock nut seems to hold up fine but how long I couldn't tell you as I tend to only keep the same hardware for 2, maybe 3 decks which is why I like the cheap stuff. ... show more

    • Get These. Don't fool with other brands.
Don't be like me: I had to buy new hardware AND a new deck because the small screw heads on the cheap hardware I was using pulled through the top plies of my deck. Ridiculous. And I'm just pushing across town. Tried another decent brand, but same problem with small screw heads. No such problem with Indys. They're perfectly countersunk into the beveled holes. Works with cheap decks, works with pricey surfskate decks... Just works. Don't fool around with any other brand. If you're not using any riser pads, 7/8 inch is pretty much perfect for most 7 ply maple decks and most truck base plates. You get maybe 2 screw threads visible to spare after you tighten them down. Go with 1 inch if you have any doubts. ... show more
