This product is a good alternative to origin cat food which is a premium cat food. This product does not contain any grain soy potato rice or any other artificial or bad ingredients. The protein content is good and the fat content is good as well. Interestingly enough both the dog food formula and the cat food formula are exactly the same and can be used for both since they both contain taurine. He was carried for miles in a hoodie to a new home, where he was bottle-nursed. Plans to bring him to an animal shelter were abandoned as hew won over his rescuers' hearts. My cat generally likes the Fish Flavor, but doesn’t eat as much or enthusiastically since the kibble size is now smaller. The ingredients are fine without legumes, wheat, soy, etc. If you agree call manufacturer. Number on bag. I got another large bag and my big cat likes the new supply. Less brittle kibble? My cat is super picky and has some allergies. He normally eats Inception fish dry food with little or no complaining. But this latest bag has larger pieces than usual. He didn’t seem to like it as much. I was back to coaxing him to eat by mixing treats on top of the food. I picked up a new bag at a local pet food store and he ate some of that right away. I use this kibble as part of the blend that I feed my hedgehog. The ingredient profile is great, and the kibbles are a decent size for tiny mouths. I've also offered a few pieces here and there to my cats as healthy treats, and they were happily snarfed up. I can't vouch for the flavor, but I suppose two species agree that it's good! One of my 4 cats is allergic to fish and corn, so there are very few cat food brands he can and will eat, but this is one of them! He even likes it! All 4 of them do; it's like a miracle, honestly.
