Description

Here at Inaba, we know that your cat is a beloved member of your family. That's why each of our Churu Lickable Creamy Purée Natural Cat Treats are made from high-quality, human-grade ingredients, including wild-caught tuna and farm-raised chicken. Since cats are not naturally drawn to water, we have made these a high-moisture, low calorie cat treat that your kitties will love. They contain 91% moisture and have only 6 calories per tube. That's a tenth of the calories of traditional dry cat treats and more than 1000 times the moisture (8% vs. 91% moisture). In addition, we've also added Taurine to help with their vision, digestions and heart health, as well as, Vitamin E for immunity and Green Tea Extract for its natural antioxidants. What they're missing? They're grain-free, preservative-free, carrageenan-free and free from artificial colors, making them a cat treat you can feel good about feeding. Designed to be hand fed, you can use to help calm the feistiest of outdoor ferals or treat your pampered indoor pussycat. They can be used a dry/canned cat food topper or to assist with giving medications. Available in 11 savory flavors (Tuna, Tuna with Chicken, Chicken, Tuna with Scallop, Chicken with Scallop, Tuna with Salmon, Chicken with Cheese, Chicken with Shrimp, Chicken with Crab, Tuna with Beef and Chicken with Beef), you'll be able to find a flavor that your kitty will crave no matter what stage of life they are (kitten to senior). Inaba Churu makes snack time fun for you and your feline friends.

  • Read the ingredient list & do some research
Flavor Name: Tuna Variety
Guar gum not good for cats, and "natural flavoring" is an alert for anyone who cares about what they feed their cats or themselves. And I don't even know what fructo whatever is.. No ingredients listed on this page but based on how they promote their quality ingredients, I believed it - the actual ingredient list says otherwise. ... show more

  • SAVED MY CAT's LIFE
Flavor Name: Chicken Variety
My 19 year old cat gets IV hydration every day for renal failure to get her to eat the tiniest amount of canned cat food, plus I have other elderly cats. My cat just ate a whole one of these! I am beyond thrilled. These will help all of my cats in a huge way! Thank you Inaba for helping my cat get more nutrition and I am so grateful you have no idea. This will be wonderful for cats who need more nutrition, especially elderly cats with few teeth, who need extra calories. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. ... show more

  • Beware: Cat got sick :(
Flavor Name: Tuna Variety
Received a spoiled batch. We’ve given this treat to our cat before and she goes crazy for it. But our cat started having diarrhea and vomiting and we realized too late that it was this inaba churu that was causing her illness. We were mixing the inaba with her medication from the vet to get her to take it. Since she wasn’t getting better, we monitored her diet and omitted all treats. We finally figured out it was the inaba. :( Not sure if it got spoiled during shipping and delivery or if it was bad manufacturing but we’re sadly tossing the 15+ tubes away. ... show more

  • Cats won't touch it
Flavor Name: Chicken Variety
Each package has the same looking contents. Super-pureed, flesh colored stuff. Not much scent at all so assume there's not much flavor in it either. My cat who usually loves anything mushy and soup-like won't even touch this stuff. And my other cat, who would eat me if I was dead, wouldn't eat it either. Usually she'd eat anything. I tried to give it away to friend and both of her cats wouldn't touch it either after smelling it. Cute looking packaging except for inner packets. White print on pale yellow makes some of the flavors hard to read. I'm going to end up tossing it out. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. ... show more

  • Good interactive treat, emphasis on treat
Flavor Name: Chicken Variety
Took my cats a bit to get used to these, but they decided they like 'em -- especially when licked off my finger rather than from the tube. Worth trying if you have a cat who is otherwise hesitant about taking treats directly from hands. WORTH NOTING: Unlike some cat treats, the Inaba pastes are NOT nutritionally balanced. If you're looking for a way to tempt a sick cat to eat, as I was, these can not fully substitute for a real cat food. Certainly better than having the cat eat nothing, but you might want to try other things first. It's a fine treat, it has more moisture than most treats which is a plus, and it's a fun way too interact with your cat. Just understand its limitations, and try to make sure they're getting enough real food too. ... show more

  • approved by four cats
If I could give this stuff ten stars, I would. Both my 20 year old cat who needs to gain weight and my 3 month old kitten who is otherwise resisting transitioning to canned food will eat these treats when they turn their noses up at other products. My two less particular cats love these treats as well. None of mine have figured out the whole "lick from the tube" thing like you see cats on Instagram doing so I just squeeze a dollop into each of their bowls and they're happy. I haven't seen any negative impact on their digestion like sometimes occurs when they try new foods or treats which is another plus. All the flavors seem equally appreciated so it's nice to not have several tubes of a snubbed flavor left over. Overall, I really recommend these treats to anyone with cats but especially if you have a fussy eater who needs more calories. ... show more

  • My indoor cats won't eat it and neither will my feral cats
Flavor Name: Seafood
After reading the wonderful reviews of these, I bought several flavors for my two indoor cats. They smelled them and wouldn't touch them. I squeezed some out on my finger and wiped a bit on each nose, but one ended up pawing it off and the other licked it and was trying to spit it out. They would not try any of the flavors. I have feral cats outside that I feed and offered it to them - not one of them would even try it - smelled them and walked away. I sniffed it to see what it smelled like; didn't have any type of "food" smell, but more of a mild cardboard box smell. I'm out over $30, so it was an expensive trial, so if you've never tried it for your cat, only buy one package of the cheapest "flavor" to see if they will eat it. Don't know what this is made of, but it is not in any way tempting to any of the cats in my life. ... show more

  • Cat loves this treat!!
Flavor Name: Chicken Variety
My cat is obsessed with this treat! It's really nice to have if you want to teach your cat how to behave. Whenever my cat sees me holding a tube, she immediately follows me. I sit down on the couch and she jumps on it and sits next to me. I usually squish the tube so that the contents can mix - for more flavor I guess. I open it and she'd immediately start licking the top. She always puts her paw on my arm so that I don't move away (LOL!) Even when the treat is gone she would wait until I squeeze as much of it as possible. It's actually to the point where I open the tube with a scissor and she'd even lick the inside of the plastic. Do I think it's over priced? Yes. But I don't live near a Walmart/Pet Smart so I can't get it from there. Also there's Chewy but they have a flat shipping rate of $5 and I'm not buying $50+ for that free shipping. ... show more
