I needed a small strainer for putting the baking powder, soda, corn starch, and spices into a recipe, and this one does the job and has held up well for the past 5+ months. It was a little smaller than I expected, but it's not for heavy-duty use. I use it 2-3 times a week and it has not ripped or broken in any areas. The instructions say not to put it in the dishwasher, so I hand wash it, but it comes clean easily. I wouldn't use it to strain pasta, but you can rinse rice and quinoa. Torn places where the mesh meets the plastic makes this product not even worth the 3.99 I paid for it. Too much trouble to send back such a cheap item, I'll try to find a use for it.

    • Broken strainer.
Unfortunately, this strainer was broken when received. It was torn by the rim of which made it difficult to even use. I had to throw it away and get a refund on this damaged item.
