I have been ordering this coffee for its rich flavor and great aroma. I got a fancy espresso maker and wanted to match it up with good coffee. Did you realize expensive coffee does not mean great coffee? This is in the middle price wise. The flavor and smell when you make this coffee hits you instantly. Nice smoky flavor but not burnt. Taste is good and Quick to ship. Need improvement for packaging. It was shipped in a plastic bag, nothing else so there were dents all over the tin can.

We were using a different "k-cup design" brand before and thought we were happy. After visiting Rome for a trip, we quickly leanred that Illy is far superior in flavor. We can home and bought ourselves an Espresso Machine and loaded up on these beans. So Much Better quality and flavor! Yes, it takes a bit longer to make, but so worth it. We usually will do Espresso Only, Americano or Latte...however we started doing Affogatos and they are perfect with Illy! ... show more

    • Non returnable when the can doesn't have a lid or is not vacuum packed?

I ordered two cans of Illy coffee. One was packed with a lid, and one was not. I thought, well, I can always put the lid on the second can after I use the first one. I popped open the can without the lid, and there was no vacuum 'whish' sound. I popped open the 2nd can, and there was the audible 'whoosh' sound. The beans don't even smell the same. It is almost $12 for a can of Illy coffee, and it is packed without a lid and is not vacuum sealed. Seriously? ... show more
