So I’ve been trying to use clean products for myself and my family and this is one of the things I’ve tried that I found on a non tox group.. You really have to wash your face well and make sure you exfoliate before use. Before you shake the bottle well, empty the dispenser so you don’t apply anything that has not been mixed. I’m honestly impressed at how well it applies. It smells a little like the old school playdoh but it goes away. Even if you don’t choose your true correct shade it still blends in to your skin smoothly and adjusts to your tone. Compared to the 100% pure tinted moisturizer I like this one better because it is easy to apply with your fingers and it does not leave me streaky or looking like I’m wearing a mask. It also looks natural! When the sun hits my face it’s Like it’s just my skin so this is what I’ve been searching for a while. I’ll def be using this for a while because a little goes a long way and it does moisturize my skin and not just locks in moisture. Def recommended! ... show more

Great coverage for my skin! I started out with the Tulum, which was far too light even though I’m fair skin and I ended up with the bom bomb. The coverage is wonderful and it’s kind of got a glistening look to it but I still have a hard time getting over the smell.

I understand that pale girl makeup is like the white crayon of makeup because it’s basically pointless and covers nothing, but I was still expecting more. With my first bottle, I was pleasantly surprised with the coverage, even though it wasn’t a ton, it still evened out my skin and redness, covered some pimples decently, and I looked radiant, dewy, fresh, and flirty. I’m already pretty pale in the summer but I’m practically a ghost in the winter, so I got a lighter shade, maybe even the lightest one they offer, and I feel like the formula was completely different (perhaps it’s because the first bottle I bought in store at Sephora and this one I bought on Amazon?). It was way more oily than my last bottle (maybe due to less pigment?) whereas the last bottle gave more of a healthy glow look, and it even felt greasy and covered absolutely nothing (coming from someone who LOVES dewy, light coverage base looks year round). I pretty much use it as a tinted sunscreen on days I don’t feel like putting on makeup because it’s pointless as a base. I’m frustrated though because the first bottle I got, I LOVED and felt like I didn’t even need to set it with powder. Now, not only do I have to set it, but I have to put a full face of makeup on top if I want any coverage or a real makeup look. Ugh. When will ghosts get to have makeup with decent coverage AND a natural finish 😭. I know it’s not a foundation but I’m telling you the first bottle I tried was phenomenal and looked like you had the healthiest, most beautiful skin, giving the perfect base to only do touch up concealer, mascara, blush, and go, and the second bottle I tried was awful. If you’re tan or have a deeper toned skin, I think you’ll love it, but if you’re a ghost like me, you probably won’t like it. For reference, I have somewhat oily skin and struggle with pimples and blackheads, live in the south where it’s hot and humid, and I didn’t have a ton of issues with it sliding around when I didn’t set it, but if I knew I was going to be outside for more than an hour, I DEFINITELY set it very well and even brought powder with me to touch up. In the fall I almost never set it though since I wasn’t sweating it off and it seemed to stay okay, just don’t touch your face or rub it off lol. ... show more

Ok, so I'll caveat my title with the fact that I've only used this product for a few days. That said, I will start this with a little background. I'm 42 and am starting to show fine lines around the usual places. When I got married a few years back, I let a makeup artist use spray foundation on my face. It immediately aged me 10 year. I. Hated. It. And it ruined all of my photos. Since then, I vowed to "get good" at makeup and never pay someone to make me look like that again. Cutscene. I've used liquid foundation and powdered foundation. Frankly, I've just resolved that foundation ages you and I really don't have big issues anyway and stopped trying. Then I saw some videos for this product and figured I'd try it. I'm specifically reviewing the tinter. This stuff is a lot like a face lotion, with the added benefit of SPF (which is awesome). But, the kicker is it actually adds some color/foundation/whatever to your face which does absolutely give you an even tone with no cakiness or amplified wrinkles. I mean, I even have the dewey look going on. I'm pretty impressed. One possibly negative is that the bottle is kind of pricey and fairly small. I don't know how long this will last someone who would use it daily. I likely will not. For me, it's more of a going out thing. Another possible negative is it definitely doesn't absorb into your face, so when I touch my face, it feels like I have something on it. Maybe that's ok, though. Overall, if you're a little older and looking for milder coverage without looking like the crypt keeper when you're done, this stuff seems to be exactly what I needed. ... show more

Do not try to use in place of foundation. It’s a very light coverage but it does make you look like you’re glowing. The only thing is that this type of product is not for people with oily skin. Sometimes it gets too oily on me . You must have a powder to use over this product or else it will stay looking wet or oily on your face.
