  • Great dash cam
I love this dash cam. It’s also compact to fit in your purse and not bulky. My purse is medium to small size and it fits there. The only downsize is that you have to continuously have it plugged in and the back camera you have to install. I never did because I don’t really need a back camera I’m okay with the cabin and front windshield one. But if you install the back one, that will get tricky unless you get it professionally installed then it will be okay or you can do it yourself. Said you had to buy a SD card but mine came with one, not sure if that was meant to be included or not but nice gift. ... show more

  • Good customer service
Bought this camera on March 20, 2021 and it worked awesome for about 2 years. Then it started messing up about June of 2023, shut off all the time, would charge the battery, always said reformat the disc. It was either from the extreme cold of our winters or extreme heat from the summers, but 2 years for a dashcam is pretty good in my book, I contacted the website and gave them my order number form Amazon and they sent me new one with SD card. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. That is what its about. great camera, it was a good one while it lasted. but if you want to buy a dashcam and think its going to last for 10 years, you are not going to find one at this price. great price for what it does, and great quality for the type of camera it is. Thumbs up from me. ... show more

  • PROS and CONS....
The "PROS": 1. Packaging, included accessories, and adjustable video quality seems to be above average. It offers a camera lens facing the hood of your vehicle, one that monitors the inside of your cab, and also comes with a additional camera to be installed and mounted near your license plate to monitor traffic/tailgaters/idiots that are behind you. And that is an added advantage if you already have an aftermarket "in-dash TV" previously installed (for the record, I recommend using either Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, or Eclipse in regards to having/buying/installing a quality "in-dash TV/CD/Radio" ) because it's as simple as plugging it into the back of that unit, hiding the wires (however that's not always as easy as it may sound-depending on the vehicle you're in), and hittin' the road. It even comes with a little tool used to carefully tuck the wire behind plastic crevices in your vehicle as well as a few adhesive wiring clips (to assist in securing the wiring so it's not easily visible and likely in the way), And also it comes with a 64GB "mini-SD" memory card, is easily accessible (when navigating through the settings internally and the initial setup process-which was a piece of cake even for those who have no clue as to what they're doing-(me being no exception lol), And lastly it also offers motion sensing activation, and loop recording in a selected amount of intervals (5 mins each, 10 mins each etc...-and that is so when you go to review footage, you don't have to sort through one long giant video lasting several hours, instead you can find your recordings easily in 10 minute intervals (my selected preference, personally, although it's entirely up to you which you'd like to use). Now with that being said.... The "CONS": The user buttons often stick when you push them, it only came with three adhesive wire clips that I previously mentioned above, leaving you with needing additional wire clips to secure the rest of the power cord wiring, And also does not include a mounting bracket for the rear camera to be installed near your license plate (At least mine did not include a bracket anyways and maybe it's just me, and in your case, I hope so), And lastly, (And this almost isn't even worthy of being considered a con because I guess at the end of the day it's not that big of a deal but just something I wish was included but wasnt) - I wish that it would have come with some sort of a window decal that might thwart potential criminals who lights be looking to steal something from inside the car or even damage the vehicle etc....or something like that, ya know? But I suppose it wouldn't be very difficult to simply order one online that says what I want it to say so again it's not really that big of a deal at the end of the day. Would I recommend buying this dash camera? Yes I would So far I'm satisfied and have no other complaints. However if that changes for any reason, I will return to this review and update it so other people are aware. Good luck! ... show more

  • An AMAZING Dash Cam For the Price, With One Small Caveat
I bought two of these dash cams for less than $100 in total, by buying the refurbished ones. I tested them out and found out it had really high quality video capture, and good detection of when it was in the car. They have a small battery inside of them, and charge from the 12V power socket in the car, and they detect when they begin charging as the start up of the car. From what I can tell, they even check for a huge shift in acceleration even when the car isn't on, waiting to see if you get hit while your vehicle is parked. The installation was painless and easy. Some people said theirs fell off of their windshield but I never had a problem with mine, and it's been in the sun for over a month now. They include some little tools in the kit to help push it under and around the molding and fabric in the car to run cables. One thing to note, however, and this is my only "con" persay. The refurbished units show the person who refurbished them, and in my case it was an asian man who did an excellent job in my opinion, as that unit was fantastic, and one was from someone who looked like they were hiding in their basement. When that unit arrived, it sounded like something was loose inside. I opened it and found that the person who "refurbished" it left everything undone internally. I rewired it and stuck it back together and it is also working fantastically. In all, the product is perfect, exactly what you need for a dash cam on a budget. I just would be cautious and ready to deal with the refurbished units! ... show more

  • Randomly turns itself off despite proper power supply
The camera won't stay on. I have set up several dash cameras in my own vehicles as well as for a few family members and so far this has been the only one I have had issues with. For whatever reason the camera will just turn itself off and none of the buttons or anything will work. The only thing that fixes this is when I unplug the camera from the cord (the connection between the camera and power cord). I know the car outlet works fine, it's either an issue with the camera or the power cord itself. Either way, it is worth it to just buy a slightly more expensive and reliable camera. Don't bee fooled by the inaccurate 5 star reviews. ... show more

  • A beginner product
I’ve had this for 1 year I couldn’t tell if the functions like parking guard and gravity sensor really worked. Recording has its limits good quality but small bits Buttons are small so If you quickly trying to do something be careful This product does not have a full battery induction within the product itself this will drain your car battery But it’s ok to have it on during your drive ... show more
