This controller came earlier than I expected. The artwork on this controller is great. The instructions are in Japanese so if you’re not able to read Japanese it might be a bit difficult to pair it to your Switch. I questioned if it was actually going to pair to my Switch and it happily paired to my console. The best feature is the rumble that I did not expect from the controller. It was a bit pricey, but I think it was well worth it. The design, the extra triggers, light changing feature, and amiibo support all in one? If you have the cash, and want more than a basic black pro controller, I'd highly recommend this.

The media could not be loaded. This controller is perfect for hours and hours of gameplay. This controller is designed with the newest features legendary Pokémon from Scarlet and Violet. It’s very well-done, and so far doesn’t feel like they will fade at all. This controller is one that plugs in to charge, and this one does it relatively fast. I am used to controllers that use batteries (I use reusable batteries), but this is a nice change up. I’m glad I don’t need extra batteries for this one. This controller also has some unique features. While I didn’t really look at all the features in the listing, it ended up being a nice surprise. You can customize the vibration output for the rumble feature. I believe you can even turn it off fully, but I personally will not be turning it off almost ever. Another feature is that it has RGB lights lining the bases of the D-Pad sticks. You can change the colors as well as their brightness, and there’s two different breathing light settings. One cycles through all the colors slowly, and the other is rainbow. The controller is comfortable to hold, which obviously is important. While there’s the standard adjustment period for learning a new controller, this one didn’t take very long to adjust to - so long as you’re comfortable with the JoyCons or handheld version prior. It makes for easy gameplay without breaking the budget for a controller. Two negatives I have are pretty minor, but nonetheless are why it’s a 4 star review. The more minor issue is that I wish you could have the RGB light breathe on a certain color only. Upon discovery of the RHB light feature, I was excited to have it on the purple setting. While you can have it on a solid color that doesn’t breathe, you cannot have it breathing on that color - your options are any solid color of your choice (rainbow included) that does not breathe, the breathing cycle of all colors, or breathing rainbow. Like I said before, this is a very minor issue, and this one didn’t impact my rating. The issue that impacted my rating is that I have to go to the menu and reconnect the controller everytime I want to play with it. My other controllers will connect to my switch once it’s on and I turn them on, but this one requires me to go into the menu and to the “Pair Controller” section every time I want to use it. While I can obviously do this, it can be a hassle when I’m switching from handheld to console and have to make sure I connect my controller before putting it down; this ends up risking the battery for me as I usually only switch to console when my handheld is nearly depleted in battery. While this doesn’t affect the gameplay or anything, it is a minor inconvenience that bothers me enough that I cannot give a 5 star review. If they are able to patch or fix this feature later, that would be wonderful! The photo in my review is of the controller off and what it looks like off without any of the features in use. The video in my review is what it looks like on while showcasing all the button presses as well as showing the rainbow breathing lights that I have it set to. The bottom 4 lights on the front are indicating it is waiting to connect with my Switch (did not turn on). When the Switch is on, it will indicate what player you are with the appropriate light slot. Overall, this is an excellent controller for the Switch. While you will have to take the time to reconnect it in the menu each time you use it, it has amazing customizable features to enhance your gameplay while ensuring you are comfortable holding it. I recommend this controller to any Pokémon fan that needs another pro controller, as you cannot find a controller with as best of features without costing an arm and a leg. ... show more

Feels very comfortable to hold, battery life lasts about a full 24 hours without charging too so unless you're neglectful to charge it when it's not being used, it never runs out so to speak. I think the turbo function may not work as intended but I have no need for it anyway so it doesn't negatively impact me. ... show more
