Needed screws like this to mount sockets onto our test boards. The socket manufacturer barely sent enough of this length, and the other ones they sent were way too short. These screws are well made and are working great. FYI, metric screws are different than standard screws for pitch, with metric it's the spacing between two consecutive threads, for standard it's how many threads per inch. These screws are M2-0.4 x 25 which means 2mm diameter, 0.4mm thread pitch and 25mm long (measuring from end of screw to the bottom of the socket head cap where the threads end). The included tool key seems a little cheap and I'm not sure we''ll ever use it. We have better quality ones that we use as it's way too easy to round out these socket cap head screws when using cheap tools. ... show more

I have recently started 3D printing and purchased these screws to use in my projects. I have used them in two ways: 1) with nylon locking nuts purchased separately, and 2) threaded into printed 4.5mm holes in my 3D parts. They work well using both methods. With the 4.5mm printed hole, I use one of the screws to tap threads into the PLA plastic. The quality of the screws is good, and they come in a convenient plastic storage box. The order came complete with the included allen key. Checked the quantity and all screws were included. Socket heads appear to be centered and not distorted. So far each of the screws I have used, the threads were not damaged and worked properly. Allen key is not the highest of quality but that is to be expected with a free allen key and works properly if you do not over tighten. Knurled heads are handy for finger tightening as well as for grip. It also gives some added grip into tightly made holes to keep them from wiggling out.
