I ended up returning this. I bought this because it was compact, reasonably priced, and from the reviews looked as though it performed well. However, there were a lot of issues with this label maker! To start with, I was having trouble getting it to connect to bluetooth. Even though it showed it was connected on my phone, the app wasn’t recognizing the device. I went through all the steps to connect and even the trouble shooting steps, but it was not always connecting. Toward the end, I couldn’t get it to connect at all. The next problem I had was when I did get it to connect, it wasn’t printing properly, I had a bunch of “gibberish” print when I selected to print more than one label at a time. Additionally, the machine kept printing even though it reached the number I had put in to print. Also, the text wasn’t aligning correctly. I made certain the correct label size was added and tried to work with the alignment feature. However, it still wasn’t printing them according to the print preview. Although I’m not a professional at working with designing labels. I do have a bit more than just basic knowledge, because I’ve designed labels and worked with Microsoft word doing formatting before (took a class). This label maker, the app, or a combination of both was not functioning properly. I ended up getting another label maker (Nimbot) and this one works perfectly. I would not recommend this label maker! I purchased this because I wanted something to print address labels, despite it having the size large enough to print a full-size address label, it will not allow it to be printed. It only prints one line of text and nothing else and you are not able to make any changes to the size of the label or area of text. This junk is totally useless for anything. ... show more

The device is good for the money and the test print out worked fine for me. The labels are small though and not good for address labels. The reason am junking it is because you have to have a Google account and hook/link your device up to that account to get the driver. I am not sure how apple store works nor the scan code. I do not use camera devices nor will I ever use a device that requires Google shit to get the app to run it! ... show more

    • Works alright, needs some revision
Getting this thermal printer to function properly posed some initial challenges for me. The pre-programmed label size didn't align with the provided labels, necessitating some adjustments before proceeding. The inclusion of small labels labeled for "gap printing" left me somewhat puzzled about their purpose. While experimenting with the printer, the button labeled as "undo" provided an amusing surprise – it actually reads "revoke." This quirky aspect has become my favorite, adding a touch of humor to the learning process. In essence, this thermal printer doesn't offer a straightforward plug-and-print experience; there appears to be a notable learning curve. My struggle is not isolated, considering my experience with other thermal printers has been relatively seamless. Despite the learning curve, the printing quality is commendable. The printer boasts several appealing features, including its automatic shut-off after 20 minutes – a useful feature for forgetful users like me. If I can successfully sync the app with the device, I believe I'll grow to appreciate this printer. Surprisingly, the printer's app offers far more features than expected. Creating labels from scratch or saving templates for similar labels is a convenient feature. Contrary to expectations, photo printing is possible by saving an image to the camera roll and adding it to the template. While the app's controls for designing labels are intuitive, it's evident that non-native English speakers developed it, making it slightly less polished but still navigable. However, some aspects fall short. Aligning labels inside the machine proves challenging, leading to uneven and inconsistent prints. The serrated edge for tearing labels doesn't work effectively, often requiring the lid to be opened for label removal. Additionally, the printer's build quality feels cheap, with lackluster plastics and a Micro USB charging port. In summary, if your needs are limited to basic, on-the-go label printing with occasional use, this printer will suffice. However, for more extensive requirements, investing in blank labels for a conventional printer may offer better accuracy and customization. Setting up this printer was relatively easy, but the instructions and video lacked clarity for those less tech-savvy. Centering and spacing the print on the label took some trial and error, as identifying the label size wasn't apparent. Despite these challenges, the app offers numerous options for customization, including icons, images, and QR codes. The Bluetooth connection appears robust, with indicators for successful connection and testing. While suitable for personal use, its utility for business purposes remains uncertain. However, the ability to save templates streamlines future use, making it a handy device once properly configured. The device arrived fully charged, equipped with a charging cable and two rolls of labels in different sizes, and loading new labels seems straightforward, although the instructions lacked clarity. Overall, a satisfactory device with a learning curve but functional for various labeling needs. ... show more

I like the compact size of this label maker but I will be looking for a different one due to the reasons below: 1) The app is difficult to navigate and not all functions work. For example I used the "number of copies" feature to print several labels at a time. It printed 1 and then it started printing jumbled stuff and wouldn't stop. Wasted about 20 labels.
