    • For a beginner, it’s a very easy drone to fly
Update 10/12: This drone is my absolute favorite. So much so, that I purchased a second one. A dream to fly both indoors and outside. Outside, the collision avoidance works flawlessly. Flying indoors, super easy and rock solid, both in altitude hold and does not waver at all. For the money, you can’t find an easier to start your drone experience. Of course the two step setup to get it in the air is effortless. Getting into drone flying as a novice can be frustrating. I have purchased 3 drones, one has GPS and the other one is a really basic model. Both manufacturers were well known in the industry. I saw this and liked that it has brushless motors and collision avoidance. By far the Le-Idea 31P is the most stable and easiest to learn and fly. It is extremely stable in flight and the joystick controls are rock solid. I would highly recommend this product for beginners as well as next level flyers. For my purposes for getting into drone flying, it’s the best for the money. This drone is absolutely perfect for what I purchased a drone for. Primary intent is to inspect my roof and gutters. I’m a senior and have no intention to get on my roof again but will hire a person if I need something cleaned or fixed. I bought a really mini drone because I’d never used any joysticks before and learned indoors to control it. I couldn’t be liege how unstable it was but you get what you pay for… so I thought. Then I saw the le-Idea 31P and it sounded like a perfect next step. Brushless motors and hopefully a more stable flight. This drone was beyond expectations. Extremely stable in flight, easy to setup and seems really well built. The case is good. The instructions are clearly written but if I could offer a suggestion, use a larger font size. Most will most likely need to put on their readers. So that’s exactly what I did but for future use, I wrote the majority in my iPhone Notes. The app is also amazing and straightforward. It uses “Fly Plus” and the QR code led me right to it. So if anything I said here that you could relate to, buy this drone. One thing a little confusing is that the box it comes in had my head scratching. On one side it says Idea 31 and you flip it over and it says Idea 31P. I’m not sure the differences, but I know the 31P has Obstacle avoidance and that’s what I ordered. You must remove it from the drone to pack it all away in the grey case. Be very careful on putting it on and removing it. A very tight fit but works great when activated. Here are my notes that I copied from the instructions… hopefully they will assist your eye strain. Great steady flight Setup Turn on drone then turn on controller The drone will automatically pair 😀 Push both controllers to the bottom right. You will hear a beep. This will complete leveling when lights stop flashing, it’s level for flight To start engines, push both controllers down and out. Or Press takeoff button on right of compass to start motors then left joystick up to lift off Start flying. Obstacle avoidance mode: Press down and hold down the centered left controller will turn on this function. To turn off, Press down and hold down the centered left controller again and will turn off Outdoor mode When flying outdoors, you can turn flow positioning by long pressing at A (inward button on the top left side). Pressing it again will turn it back on. Obstacle avoidance mode Once the drone is calibrated and unlocked, a long press of the left joystick straight down will put the drone in this mode. A long press again will take it out of this mode. How to use the camera/video on joystick The top left two buttons will raise and lower camera. A short press straight down on right joystick will take a picture. A long press on the right joystick will start video. A long press again will stop the video. Speed control There are three speed modes slow normal and fast. On the top left of the controller is a button that adjusts the speed Press it once and it will beep twice. You will be in normal speed Press it again and it will beep three times. You will be in fastest mode. By pressing it again, you will go back into slow mode and will beep once. ... show more

    • Lost control in just few minutes then it went in to the woods (300yd). LOL
- Very slow picture comparing to cheaper one, but if you like things in slow motion nature then this one is for you - Obstacle Avoidance doesn't work or might need to do something to make it work, hit garage door and trees left and right - Don't know if it had GPS (It would have save the drone) - Don't know if "follow me" is one of the feature (it would have save the drone) - Very easy to control but is missing the home button (it would have save the drone) But all in all, If you don't want to see your drone forever after few minutes - this one is for you for sure!!! Just wondering if I can still return just the remote control and the spare battery since the drone now deep in the wood with the hogs. Update on 7/19/24 Amazon did provided a refund on this product without going to the wood and hunt for it. ... show more

    • Great drone for beginners
The drone was a gift for my 13 year old grandson. It was easy to set up and immediately start using. It took a few days of getting comfortable with the controls but after 3 days he was flying it pretty well. It was easy to set up with an iPhone for video/pictures and takes surprisingly good pictures and video for such a small drone. He is really impressed and excited to fly it more once the snow is gone. Due to a hard landing, one of the support legs broke off and was unable to launch. We contacted customer support and were very happy with how easy and quickly they responded to the issue. This drone is amazing I'd give it 10 stars if I could it's super easy to fly and very fast it has 3 speed settings so it can go slower if that's what you prefer it's a lot of fun to fly it's an incredible drone for the price andbthe camera quality is decent

    • Stopped working after two days of use
This product came with the camera lens covered in scratches. The motors out just died after 2 days and obstacle avoidance stopped working after 6 hours but everything else was great. The brushless motors were great and camera quality was good.

    • Top cam didn't work/lost my drone
It was cool for the time I've had it. I took it outside in the fields I had it faced me and my son. I used the left control stick to make it come my direction. Instead it winded up drifting off to my left deeper onto the fields, battery must've died because I lost signal with it.
