If you plan on adding a CNC to your wood shop, it can be a little bit overwhelming! Which CNC, which design software, which router or spindle, which bits, etc.!! Fortunately, there are many good resources online to help, and idcwoodcraft.com is one of those. Garrett’s videos provide a wealth of information that helped me through the process. I had a few questions, and reached out to Garrett via email, and he got back to me right away. This bit package is a great value vs buying each bit individually, and will definitely get me going on my projects! As I said above, great customer service, great videos, great products! I have decades of experience with woodworking but CNC is new to me. The bits appear to be of excellent quality. They have thick carbide tips and can be resharpened when the time comes. They are very sharp out of packing and surfaced my spoilboard in no time. One of the most outstanding aspects to this set is the invaluable information that comes with it for each individual bit. Delivery was quick, communication is excellent and I highly recommend IDC. When I have used these more I will leave an updated review. 10/13/2022 I have now ran several projects with these bits and they have performed flawlessly. I liked them so much I have bought more of the specialty bits. As for durability, they survived a couple of my newbie screwups and are still in great working order. I recently had an opportunity to purchase a CNC machine from someone who barely used his machine. Have wanted a CNC machine for a while to add to my woodshop. Started watching YouTube videos on CNC woodworking and found IDC Woodcraft. Garrett Fromme teachs CNC woodworking and makes it very easy to understand and provides step by step instructions. Very good for the novice or experienced CNCer. The CNC machine I bought had a miss mash of different bits. Many of the bits not marked. After watching Garrett, I decided to buy his starter bit package and start with a clean portfolio of bits. Placed my order with Amazon on Monday and the package was in my mailbox the next day. Great shipping. IDC Woodcraft does an excellent job in their product packaging. Each bit is in a plastic tube well marked with the bit's description on the tube. Bits are shipped in a nice pouch. Garrett also includes a thank you card and other tokens of appreciation including a pen and IDC stickers. The bits are made in the USA. I used one of the bits and it is extremely sharp. I hear of IDC on a couple of CNC groups and decided to give them a try. The IDC website has more detail about the product than most, which is helpful in deciding what to purchase. I sent Garrett an email requesting the discount that was listed on the IDC website and had a reply within an hour. I received a discount code to use during checkout here on Amazon. Super easy ordering and the discount was really easy to apply to the order. Garrett sent me a second email with all the links for videos, feeds and speeds for the IDC bits and a very warm welcome to IDC. The bits shipped quickly and when they arrived I was amazed at the packaging and thoughtfulness that went in the order. It's really great that each bit case is marked with bit information, so it make it really easy to tell which on you need to trying to setup a job. The product is of the highest quality and expect these will last for quite some time. All in all, I will be buying many more bits from IDC. I bought these bits a couple months ago, but just got my cnc and got it up and running. The bits are awesome! Strong, sharp and high quality. I've been a professional carpenter for 37 years but am new to cncing. Garrett has helped me immensely with all his YouTube videos. So when it came to buying a starter pack of cnc bits, it was a no brainer. Now that I have used these bits, I know it was a great choice. They came with 2 velvet pouches,files, and an IDC pen.
