We bought this vest as a trial almost two years ago. This has turned out to be well worth the money. Our boy wears it daily and it still works and functions as it did when we took it out of the package. It’s great for when we take him hiking with us, or take him for runs, since we can attach a phone pouch. He even carries his own “waste” bags, as you might be able to see from the picture. We absolutely love this vest and how extremely versatile it is. We attempted another vest just as a secondary and were not impressed at all. We love everything about this one. From the durability of the metal buckles and hardware to the adjustability and versatility of the overall vest. We love that we can even add a few personal touches in the form of the velcro patches. The positioning of the grab handle is amazing as well. While other competitors still have one, we’ve found that the position of this one helps aide in better control of our boy, who’s quite strong. We also love the versatility the vest offers when taking him for walks or for car rides. We can easily tie him down to the seatbelt in the car from the chest ring or attach his leash from either of the two back rings. I bought this to have more control over my English Bulldog and it helped. I also tried it on my senior Alaskan Malamute/Golden Retriever mix. He is 19 1/2 years old and needs a little help sometimes getting in the car or up the stairs. We just use the handle to help pick him. The stability of this product is amazing. Absolutely love this harness. I got one for my 1 year old german shepard in coyote brown. It fits like a glove and he has more than enough room to grow into it once he starts packing on some adult weight and thickness. The harness looks great, the only concern i have is that some people have been reporting issues with the stiching after a few months of heavy use. Based on pictures it doesnt look like anything i cant re-stitch or even double stitch now before that issue occurs. Just be careful with the buckets as some people have reported issues with the metal clamps, but those dont even have to be undone if you slide it over their head like a collar and just clamp the bottom plastic buckles after putting it on. I would give it 5/5 stars but based on the issues others have been reporting im hesitant to say that none will occur in the future. Either way its not too expensive so i can allows order another if something were to happen! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a badass tactical harness for their dog, best of luck!! ... show more

The only negative thing is it might be to hot to use in if you live in a hot area like I do and soon to be for most people! I bought a EZDOG harness for my dog for the hot season. Both are very well made.

We bought this for our 15 year old dog. We got a new house with stairs and he cannot climb them. This vest helps us assist him in holding him up when walking up and down the stairs. It is even great because if the dog loses balance you can still hold him up. It is also good for walking. We do not use it for daily walking but do use it if we go out to assist our dog if he needs it. The vet also loved this vest. This vest is placed very well to not interfere with our dog using the bathroom either, no clean up needed. I highly recommend this. It would also be great for a younger big dog, to help control it. We have used it on our six month old bullmastiff puppy and it helps with control. ... show more

My rottweiler wears this and he loves it! I use it for walks and it allows me to safely strap him in the car by attaching a nylon cable to the vest. The vest is very well made and is very sturdy. I went with the brown and it looks fantastic against his black fur. I highly recommend this product.
