I’ve been using this vest on my dog for probably four years. I replace it every two years, but I recommend replacing it every year. This is not due to a fault of the product because I have no problems with the vest, but I prefer the “better safe than sorry” approach when it comes to my dog. I ordered a size large for my ~85 pound Rottweiler mix. I appreciate the updated version, the reflective portions are a great touch and the vest seems sturdier, buckles seem a little heavier duty too. I purchased a tan vest and attached a pouch to the MOLLE panel, that way I’m able to keep a leash and some plastic bags on him. I would also recommend using a carabiner and collapsible water bowls if you take your animal on longer walks. Great hook and loop, I have a custom US Army name plate with his name as well as some of my other Army patches. This vest has never let me down, it’s sturdy, works great, looks great, and gets him plenty of compliments. ... show more

This review is based on the five years we've had this product for my red sable male GSD and how this product has held up. I purposely waited to write this review since the product was really well made when I purchased it years ago (2018). DOG TYPE: Working GSD Energy Level: Very High SIZE: 85lb, Standard 26 inches from the withers height. Stock fur. Lean build. PRODUCT PRICE: AVERAGE Pro: Nice green color. High quality material. Strong metal clasps, not cheap plastic clasps, and very comfortable material. Very clean and sleek look. The vest does not fall short or long on the dog's torso. It's a perfect length as some vests tend to be on the shorter end. My dog loves this vest. It is very comfortable and it allows him to have great mobility with comfort. The material do not cut into his fur/skin especially when he is exercising at a high energy level or out during long walks/jogs. This product is still used weekly (since I purchased the vest for my dog). Very little signs of wear and tear in the five years. I probably will not need to purchase a new vest anytime soon for him. I did purchased other vest brands and I returned them due to inferior material in comparison. Nothing to dislike about this product. If this company continue to keep the quality level the same (as when I bought this vest for my dog five years ago....) I will buy from this company again. Con: Nothing. Nit-picking would be more color selection? Do I recommend this product? Yes. Serves what we need for our dog. Love the clean sleek look and the Quality is superb. The harness we got is black and is trimmed in reflective edges for superb visibility! The top has a very sturdy handle for easy handling without choking the dog. This thing is very strong and built to handle a strong dog! It has very nice padding to keep the dog comfortable with enough stretch to allow comfortable movements. The clasps are very sturdy and lock in place tightly. Once you get the initial fitting of the straps just perfect to match the size of your dog it is super easy to put on and remove with the easy click of 2 clasps. The top and sides of the outside of the harness have a lot of Velcro so that you can add tactical gear very easily! I was a little leary of spending $40 on a harness but so glad we did...so worth it! We had always used collars but I didn't like the way it choked the dog and this harness is so much more comfortable for the dog and he is much more relaxed when walking on a leash now! I admit...the first time we put it on him and were adjusting the straps, he was terrified of it and was shaking but 5 minutes later he was absolutely fine once he realized it wasn't hurting him and we went on a walk. ... show more

If you have a breed of long dog, this harness is a 10/10 for fit. Very adjustable in the chest and neck. Easy to put on. My Corgi is quite long and a harness that should fit him according to his measurements will be a too close to his armpits, if not rubbing on his armpits. This one you can adjust underneath if you are needing to have a “longer” harness. The Corg has never stretched with his other harness on so I’ll take that as he’s comfortable enough in it. This harness is just as described. We picked reflective and the stitching definitely stands out. Good quality, easy to adjust and tuck ends away. We've used it a few times already and have started to customize with fun patches. I will definitely be buying one for my other dog as well!

The size chart is accurate. It has multiple buckles for easy clip and I use it as a car harness to buckle my pup in. It look comfortable on him and he has an easier time in the car because of it. I feel like it’s safe for him and it is of very good quality

The media could not be loaded. This harness not only looks cool but it is incredibly durable. We have used this daily and our dog Baxter acts absolutely proud as can be when it goes on. He's a pit bull and hasn't managed to rip this harness yet! He's played with other dogs and ran through the brush and it has still held up beyond just a small bit of fabric fray. He acts like it is super comfy because sometimes he refuses to let us take it off but he loves for us to put it on. I love that it goes on super easy and has multiple points to anchor to, tighten and strap so you can adjust it as your dog grows or even loses a few pounds. The added velcro is a cool touch because you can get all kinds of velcro patches to put on to give your dog a unique touch. Great for hunting, service dogs or just to unless the inner beast of your home protector. Definitely reccomend. ... show more
