I've owned these 1-2 months and they've been used several times per week since. The cubes dislodge easily, as long as you don't overfill the compartments. If you do, it'll require more force to expel them, but even then anybody could press the silicon cupped backing with their thumbs and effectively push them out. Being stackable, these are terrific space-savers, and allow for an ice bin and family-sized chicken package to stow in the upper freezer drawer of an average fridge/freezer combo. These Ice Trays: My Rating is 4 out of 5 stars: Positives: A= They are probably the easiest to remove the Ice Cubes that I have come across thus far. B= Easy to fill. C= Nice appearance Negatives: A= Sadly, thee only real issue I have with these is that, thee ice cubes are medium to small in size and therefore they Melt Fast--- too fast in my humble opinion. Since my ice maker from my fridge broke, this is a cheaper alternative. Very easy to fill and pop out the ice because of the silicone bottom. Love that each tray has its own lid so the ice is not exposed to other things in the freezer..
