I bought this to improve the peripheral view of my car mirror. The mirror is larger than my stock car mirror... but the peripheral view is less than what I expected based on the products advertisement (as pictured in the add it gave the impression that you would get a nearly 180 degree view, and THAT was not the case). However, it is wider than my original stock mirror. - So to compensate, I shifted the mirror slightly to the right (off-center) to get a better view of objects in my right-side blind-spot area. This seemed to help, while I can still use my left door mirror for objects/vehicles in my left blind-spot area. NOTE: I purchased the FLAT mirror instead of the convex mirror (you may get MORE of a peripheral view with the convex version). - I didn't get the convex version because some of the reviews said that the reflected view in the convex version was distorted... and caused eye fatigue). Nevertheless, the product works... and was easy to install. Still getting used to the view... but I'm mostly satisfied with the product. ... show more

I bought this because I have a little runabout for work that’s lower to the ground than my regular rig and sticks me in the firing line of every truck and SUV’s headlights that are on the road behind me. The anti glare seems to work great. It just clips on to your existing mirror so extremely easy to install. I only have one gripe, and it’s honestly my own fault. I ordered a mirror that’s about an inch wider than to OE mirror, but got the wide angled mirror. It’s crazy how wide of an angle you get from this thing. I can basically see my whole face, along with the whole interior of the car. The rear screen, which is really what you want to see in this thing and filled the entire mirrored area in the old mirror, is a tiny little area covering maybe 1/8 of the total area viewed. I’m sure I’ll get used to it and honestly the benefit definitely outweigh this issue. I would purchase,again, but the flat version rather than wide angle. ... show more

At first i thought it was a replacement, its a clip on. This is really wide, i thought it might interfere with the sun visors, i measured before ordering, it was a good fit. It accomplished the job I intended it for and that was to see out my rear-view window. If you dont know--these magnum cars are modern station wagons and that super dark tint being way back there was not working with the stock mirror. now i can see my whole interior , side windows and out the rear window. value for the money is okay but easy clip on. But it has a wider image which you actually don't need much. But sometimes at night, it isn't that clear as we get the original ones while you but a car.
